This week (August 5-11) is International Assistance Dog Week! The goal of this week is to educate the public about assistance dogs of all types, as well as to honor and recognize those hardworking companions & aides and the amazing work they do every day.

Did you know...?

Music and photos can be extremely therapeutic, specifically to those living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Listening to, and playing music can help promote the cognitive function of dementia patients even as their disease progresses. Photos themselves as well as music can stimulate memories.
