Just a reminder about booking for state parks: they book up fast! Camping is quickly becoming a much more popular mode of vacation, and therefore people begin to book their campsites months in advance! Last minute bookings can still happen, but not at the more popular state parks.

For our area, Lake Charles can usually be booked a couple of weeks out, unless there is a holiday of any kind. Weekdays are also more commonly available. Davidsonville, which is lesser known, can often be booked last minute, but there are no guarantees.

That being said, get your reservations in ASAP to secure your spot! We will also travel outside of this area for an additional travel surcharge.

We are ready to start booking appointments immediately for our regular single night movie rental!

$100/night gets you a a 14’ inflatable screen, projector with stand, HDMi cable to hook up your device, and a Bluetooth speaker.

This is a perfect enhancement for a small gathering/party, family movie night, or even a date night! THrow in a fire pit and marshmallows and you got a fun night for sure!

We are on the process of adding a 21’ tall deluxe set up, but exact dates are not avalible yet. Stay tuned!

It is a sad day in Greene County today, and a very sad beginning to Mental Health month. We cannot stress enough the importance of placing yours and your families mental health at the top of your priorities list. Get your family out, get them unplug from their devices, and plugged back into the support systems.

We are so committed to helping families, friends, and couples with their mental health that we are offering a 10% mental health discount for any camp outs booked during the month of May (excluding Memorial Day Weekend).

Our hearts and prayers are going out to so many this morning.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to talk about the mental health benefits of camping.

1) there is no better peace and calm than what can be found in nature.

2) you are forced to slow down and take in your surroundings.

3) you unplug from electronics and plug into the people around you. You entertain and enjoy the company of your loved ones!

4) you get the chance to just “be still” and listen to God.

5) lack of hustle and bustle gives you a chance ground yourself and refocus on what matters.

6) cooking your own food means you can eat healthier and better food!

There are way more than I could possible list in a Facebook post, but these are my favorite! I know personally that camping has enabled me and my husband to reconnect as a couple and enjoy our time together.

I’m thinking we may need a mental health getaway! Anyone else interested in letting us help you recharge your mind, body, and soul?

Did you know that you can get a FREE passport book for Arkansas State Parks? Collect a stamp at all 52 state parks! There are 4 just around us in NEA. We can help you collect your stamps in style and luxury!

Pick up your free passport at an Arkansas State Park and begin recording your travels. Passports can be stamped at a visitor center, or you can make a rubbing of the stamp in parks where there is not a visitor center.
