🫐💙 A Little Blueberry Is on the Way! 💙🫐

Today, Sonya's had the pleasure of creating this beautiful grazing spread for the Newberry baby shower, and I couldn't be happier with how it all came together!

From handcrafted meat and cheese roses to fresh fruit arrangements, cascading grapes, specialty cheeses, homemade dips, and all those little details in between, every piece was thoughtfully prepared and arranged with love. 💙

One of my favorite things about what I do is taking a theme and bringing it to life through food. And this sweet blueberry theme was so much fun to create!

“It's just meat, cheese, and fruit. How hard can it be?”

I've heard comments like that before. And I understand why some people might see it that way.

But let me tell you something.

I've worked in factories. I've worked construction. I've poured concrete, painted houses, worked in restaurants, tended bar, waited tables, worked in offices, hospitals, and just about everything in between. I'm no stranger to hard work.

But what I'm building with Sonya's is more than putting food on a table.

It's an art. It's creativity. It's patience. It's hours of preparation, planning, cutting, arranging, rearranging, and sometimes starting all over because something doesn't look quite the way I envisioned it.

It's standing on my feet for hours. It's working with my hands until they're tired. It's looking at an ordinary piece of fruit and seeing something beautiful that I can create with it.

Tonight, I took a lemon I'd already used for another recipe and started experimenting. Slice by slice, I turned it into a little rose. Not because anyone asked me to. Not because I had to. But because I wanted to see what I could create.

That's the part some people don't see.

Yesterday, a dear friend reminded me that there are people who DO see it. People who understand that what I do takes time, effort, imagination, and a whole lot of love.

And I can't tell you how much that meant to me.

Because when you hire me, you're not just paying for meat, cheese, and fruit.

You're paying for the thought behind it. The experience. The details. The hours. The creativity. And the passion of someone who genuinely cares about making something special for your special occasion.

I'm still learning. Still experimenting. Still finding new ways to make ordinary things extraordinary.

And I hope I never stop.

It's not just food to me. It's something I'm proud to put my name on.

Y'ALL!!! I am absolutely OVERWHELMED!! 🥹💗

When I launched this breast cancer awareness fundraiser, I set a goal of selling 100 boxes to raise $1,000 for the April Nicole Foundation.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that in less than a day, we would already have 59 BOXES ORDERED!! 😭💗

That's already $610 in potential donations!

The orders, the shares, the encouragement, the people purchasing boxes to surprise someone else... THIS is what community is all about!

And you know what? 100 boxes was the goal, but that doesn't mean it has to be the finish line! 💗

🎀 A LITTLE UPDATE ON OUR BOXES! 🎀

Our wonderful cookie partner, GG's, is generously providing the beautiful breast cancer awareness cookies for our first 100 boxes! Those cookies are expected to be ready Monday evening.

If we reach 100 orders and the love keeps pouring in, Sonya's will come up with another special homemade treat to take their place so we can keep this fundraiser going!

Our pink boxes are expected to arrive Saturday, and we're still waiting on shipping confirmation for a few remaining packaging supplies.

If everything arrives as expected, boxes could be available as early as Tuesday or Wednesday! 💕

Pickup and delivery dates and times will be announced once everything has arrived and the boxes are ready. Thank you for being patient while we get all these little boxes of hope put together!

Well… y'all almost blew through that goal in THREE HOURS.
