This is 36.
I would be lying if I said my wrinkles and textured skin do not bother me, because they do. Aging is not easy. It can feel like a reflection of the life you have lived up to this point. The frowns, the concern, the smiles, and even the “WTF” expressions become etched into your skin. They hold both the joy and the harder memories we have endured.

The grays do not bother me. I am learning to embrace both parts of aging, because what a blessing it is to get this far. To have what I have. To be where I have been. And to have the opportunity to keep going.

Thirty six trips around the sun. Cheers to many more.
