📸 We’re Looking for Local Families & Friends to Help Tell the Story of Life in Paradise
Emma Miller Photography & the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce is looking for local families, grandparents, couples, and groups of friends who would be willing to take part in a complimentary lifestyle photo and video session celebrating everyday life in Paradise and on The Paradise Ridge.
And just to be clear — we are not looking for models.
We’re looking for real people, real families, and real connections. You do not need to know how to pose or be comfortable in front of a camera. The goal is to capture natural moments of people simply enjoying the things they already love to do.
We’d especially love to include multi-generational families — grandparents, parents, kids, and extended family members enjoying time together.
Some of the moments we hope to photograph and film include:
• Hiking or biking together
• Fishing
• Spending time at local parks
• Walking or riding bikes through the neighborhood
• Gardening
• Playing catch or outdoor games
• Enjoying a family picnic
• Hosting a backyard barbecue with friends or family
• Grandparents spending time with grandchildren
• Visiting a local coffee shop, ice cream parlor, or restaurant together
• Simple, everyday moments that feel like home
These sessions are completely complimentary, and participants will receive images from the session as a thank-you for being part of the project.
Photos and video from these sessions may be used in websites, social media, advertising, print materials, and other marketing that promotes living in Paradise and The Paradise Ridge.
For sessions at restaurants, coffee shops, or ice cream parlors, participants will be responsible for purchasing their own food and drinks.
You don’t need a “picture-perfect” family. You don’t need matching outfits. You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera.
Just come as you are.
If your family or friend group would enjoy spending a little time together while helping us show what everyday life in Paradise can look like, we’d love to hear from you.

Some sessions just hit a little deeper 🤍

This sweet baby has been so deeply prayed for, and the love surrounding this growing family is something truly special. Watching the anticipation build as they get ready to welcome their little bundle in just two short weeks… it’s pure joy.

I’ve been wanting to shoot in the blossoms for a while, and this year I'm finally able to make it happen. They only last a short time, so these will be limited — but I think they’re going to be so good.

This is 36.
I would be lying if I said my wrinkles and textured skin do not bother me, because they do. Aging is not easy. It can feel like a reflection of the life you have lived up to this point. The frowns, the concern, the smiles, and even the “WTF” expressions become etched into your skin. They hold both the joy and the harder memories we have endured.

The grays do not bother me. I am learning to embrace both parts of aging, because what a blessing it is to get this far. To have what I have. To be where I have been. And to have the opportunity to keep going.

Thirty six trips around the sun. Cheers to many more.
