Hey all, FYI. We are canceling karaoke on Thursday 10/30 as Jer Hipp is coming home from the hospital after a successful Dbl bypass. Thanks for your understanding and know we covet your prayers! Scott will see you on Friday at El Rodeo Tequila Bar & Grill Navy Blvd at 6 for the Karaoke party.

Question: If you sent Jerilyn a throw blanket with, " At least you didn't come with a cone on your neck (with a dog in a cone)' along with a wave necklace
Thanks! We would love to thank you proper, but it just showed up in the mail!

Thanks Mariah Cooper & Cole Cooper for the awesome comments!
"We loved having Jerilyn and Scott at our wedding! We had them do officiating, DJing and day of coordinating! They helped so much to keep everything moving, kept everyone on the dance floor all night and helped make our night unforgettable! We couldn’t have been more pleased!"

People often ask how we got started. To be honest, it was a fluke! That’s right, almost by mistake.
We had a group of friends that would gather for pool parties, dinner or just to hang out and there was never any “good music”, as Jerilyn put it. So, a small tablet and speaker were taken, which graduated to a larger speaker and computer. Then a couple that was getting married, asked us how much we would charge to DJ their reception. Well, seeing as we did not do that sort of thing, we asked what they wanted in the way of songs (not knowing even how to go about this) and showed up for the rehearsal.
The preacher did not show, so we ended up officiating AND doing ceremony/reception music. That was on December 30th of 2014. We did 28 weddings in 2015 (along with other types of events) and have not looked back since.
It amazes us that we each have just the right skill sets to operate and grow Power Blast Events. We simply cannot stand to be apart. We tell the couples that we work with, to “Lean In” and continue to fall in love daily. We are thrilled to take our own advice!
