As the 5th annual Little Village Conch Festival approaches, I remember the day Rick and I stopped and spoke to Sandy. She would check with Justin on the date we had in mind for the conch blowing contest. When I asked her if she knew CAP'N SCUBA she said " he taught me how to scuba dive. " I knew then we were in the right place! We had a few places in mind. Peggy Nielsen Conch Princess suggested Little Village as St. Andrews was where Bill Tant aka CAP'N SCUBA lived and sold his queen Conch shells. Many of his students would meet in front of his house for sunset! I sure miss him and those times. So let's get those beautiful shells out and practice for our 5th annual Conch Festival!!
