Unique wedding idea: Instead of a traditional guest book, this couple chose a globe — and every guest left their mark on it. It’s a small but incredibly personal detail that reflects who the couple is. And those are always the details that mean the most.

💡 Your guest book doesn’t have to be a book. Think about what represents you as a couple — a globe, a vintage map, a record, a picture frame — and let your guests sign that instead. It becomes a keepsake that actually feels like you.

This is what happens when the right planner knows how to work with the right people.

The décor, the color, the detail — that belongs to an incredibly talented decorator. My role was making sure they had the space, the timeline, and everything they needed to bring this to life.

When every supplier is set up to do their best work, this is what it looks like.

If you’re worried something will go wrong on your wedding day — you’re right. Something probably will.

But here’s what most couples don’t realize: it doesn’t have to affect you at all.

That’s exactly why you hire wedding planners. To catch it, fix it, and make sure it never reaches your guests.

Your job is to get married. Ours is everything else - while always smiling calmly!

Don’t sign that catering contract until you ask these 3 questions 👇

1️⃣ What’s included in the per-person price?
— Setup, breakdown, equipment, tandoor, fryer, service fees, travel & staffing fees — these are almost always hidden extras that add up fast. Get an itemized breakdown before you commit.

2️⃣ What happens if your guest count changes?
— Most caterers have a minimum guarantee built into the contract. If your headcount drops, you could still be paying for those seats. Know the policy upfront.

3️⃣ Who is actually working your event?
— There’s a big difference between a trained in-house team and day-of contractors hired through a staffing agency. Ask directly, because it directly affects service quality.

These three questions can save you from surprise fees, contract disputes, and day-of chaos.

💾 Save this before your next vendor meeting.

4 questions to ask your wedding planner before you even talk budget 💬 — because who you hire matters more than how much you spend.

1️⃣ How many weddings do you take per year? — A planner who takes on 40 weddings a year is running a very different operation than one who takes 5. Neither is wrong, but it tells you everything about the attention and bandwidth you’ll actually receive. Ask, then decide if that matches what you need.

2️⃣ Who is my point of contact on wedding day? — You might fall in love with the lead planner in your consultation and end up with a junior coordinator on the day. Ask specifically who will be on-site, how many events they’ve led, and what their role looks like from morning to last dance.

3️⃣ How do you handle conflicts between vendors? — This is a question most couples never think to ask — and it reveals everything. A great planner has navigated vendor tension, timeline disputes, and communication breakdowns. Ask for a real example. How they answer tells you exactly how they operate under pressure.

4️⃣ Can I see a full timeline from a wedding similar to mine? — Not just photos. An actual timeline. This shows you how they think, how they structure a day, and whether their planning style matches the experience you’re envisioning.

The wedding day you see as a guest and the wedding day I experience are two very different things.

While everyone else is celebrating, I’m tracking timelines, communicating with suppliers, solving problems before they become visible, and making sure every moving part lands exactly as planned.

This is the part that doesn’t make the highlight reel — but it’s the part that makes the highlight reel possible.

The hill I’ll die on — Chaos starts in your suitcase. 🧳🚩

Unpacking at the hotel might feel like “one more thing” on your to-do list, but trust me—it’s the ultimate wedding day hack.

As a planner, my work doesn’t just start when the ceremony begins. It starts with everything I do behind the scenes to ensure you have a seamless, stress-free experience. When you’re living out of a suitcase, you’re constantly hunting for things. That “quick search” for a steamer or a stray earring is exactly how frantic energy starts to build.

My advice? Do what I do. Settle in, hang the outfits, and organize your space the second you check in. When your room feels like a sanctuary instead of a storage unit, you can actually breathe and enjoy those getting-ready moments. 🥂✨

An organized room = a calm bride. Every single time. 💍

Let’s talk about it — vendor kickbacks. 👀

Some planners take them, some don’t. The key is transparency.

Here’s what that means: a kickback is when a vendor gives a planner a commission or referral fee for sending them business. It’s not always shady — but it’s something you should know about upfront.

At the end of the day, you deserve to feel confident that every recommendation is made because it’s the right fit for you — not because someone’s earning extra on the side. 💛

So when you’re interviewing planners, just ask:
“Do you receive any commissions or kickbacks from your recommended vendors?”

A trustworthy planner won’t hesitate to answer — and should always be transparent about how they build their vendor network.

The truth about stress-free timelines?

They’re never set in stone.

A wedding timeline is a living, breathing document that needs constant adjustments. AI and templates can only take you so far — they can’t predict delays, last-minute changes, or those little surprises that pop up on the day.

That’s why you need someone who can problem-solve in real time and keep everything flowing seamlessly.
