Don't miss your chance to hear the winning play from the 2025 Apollos, featuring our own Grant Manning! He's playing Theo opposite our dearest friend Gianna Petrou and new friends Adeline and Aidan!

Join us at The Hershey Area Playhouse on Tues., April 5 at 7 p.m.

A huge “Thank You!” to the students who will be reading tomorrow's staged reading of "The Love Project," by Christina Pham, recipient of the 2025 Hershey Theatre Apollo Award for Outstanding Student Playwright! The schools these students represent are long-time participants of the awards program, for which we are grateful!

Digital auditions for 13 at the Hershey Area Playhouse are due July 1! The practice and performance schedule for this production WILL NOT compete with Palmyra's fall play Anne of Green Gables. Inducted members of ITS also receive thespian points for participation in community producitons!

Digital auditions for our TEEN PRODUCTION due 7/1/2025! Learn more: hersheyareaplayhouse.com/auditions

Auditionees should be in Grades 8-12 or with director permission. All characters in the show are 13 or turning 13, so preference will be given to actors who convincingly “look the part.” We are looking for performers of all races, ethnicities, sexualities, gender identities, body types, and abilities. Production is non-Equity and non-paid.

Evan Goldman is about to turn thirteen, and he can’t wait. His life seems full of possibilities -- that is, until his parents get divorced, and he is forced to move with his mom from big-city New York to podunk Appleton, Indiana. If Evan can’t get the coolest kids to come to his bar mitzvah, how is he going to survive the school year, not to mention, the rest of his life? As Evan navigates the world of cool kids and nerds, jocks and cheerleaders, first kisses and heartbreak, he comes to understand “What it Means to Be a Friend.” With a bright, catchy pop score from Jason Robert Brown, equal doses of humor and pathos, and a cast of wildly talented teens, 13 is irresistible to grown ups and almost-grown ups alike.

13 is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

THIS WEEKEND! Tickets at palmyratheatre.org

In a stunning musical as massive as the ocean liner that shares its name, Titanic tells the stories of the people on board the legendary steamer and the men who got them there. Spanning all classes, Titanic captures the stories from the whole range of humanity aboard the ship: from workers in the boiler room to first-class attendants, from the poorest passengers, who scraped together their life savings to purchase third-class tickets to America, to some of the wealthiest men of the Victorian age.

In the spirit of Puffs, we’re especially grateful for:
🪄 Friends who stand by us (even in the face of certain doom)!
✨ The bravery to try new things and be the best we can be, whether we’re “heroes” or not.
🎟️ And of course, the joy of storytelling, which reminds us all to laugh, cry, and cheer together.
