The Palmetto Estate

The Palmetto Estate Welcome to The Palmetto Estate, a hidden gem in Palmetto, Florida, where history, creativity, and romance converge to create unforgettable experiences.

Cradled in the sunlit sprawl of Palmetto, Florida, this near-century-old Spanish Revival jewel dances between worlds—Andalusian arches, Tuscan warmth, South American flair, and the bold pulse of the 1920s. The Palmetto Estate is a nearly 100-year-old Spanish Revival property that captures the essence of old-world charm. Majestic century-old oak trees, sprawling palms, and tropical plant species en

case the estate, offering a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The property features a grand brick courtyard and a breathtaking outdoor balcony, all steeped in history, with an eight-foot concrete wall adding to the estate’s exclusivity and privacy. Every corner of The Palmetto Estate is designed to evoke a sense of timeless beauty and romance, making it the perfect backdrop for weddings and special occasions. The lush grounds, meticulously maintained to reflect their historical roots, transport guests to a bygone era, where elegance and nature existed in perfect harmony. From the stately bougainvillea that greets you at the entrance to the intimate spaces for celebration, The Palmetto Estate is designed to make your event truly magical. Each wedding at The Palmetto Estate is a carefully curated experience, ensuring that couples and their guests are immersed in an atmosphere of timeless beauty and personal touches. The venue is an ideal canvas for creating unforgettable moments, with its unique blend of history, natural charm, and artistry. Couples are drawn to The Palmetto Estate not just for its picturesque setting, but for the intimate, personalized experience they receive. The vision behind The Palmetto Estate comes from owner Brent Okuley. After spending over 20 years traveling the world as a Tour Manager and Audio Engineer for some of the biggest names in music, Brent shifted gears to be more present for his young son and embrace new creative outlets. When he first discovered the estate, it was a diamond in the rough, but he saw its potential and has since poured his heart and soul into restoring it. Not only does Brent manage The Palmetto Estate as a wedding venue, but it’s also his full-time residence, making his connection to the property deeply personal. This dual role as both steward and resident ensures that every event held here is approached with care, creativity, and the highest attention to detail. Brent’s background in music, photography, and design has helped shape The Palmetto Estate into more than just a venue—it’s a living expression of his artistic journey. His passion for fostering genuine connections with couples and creating unforgettable wedding experiences ensures that every event is as unique as the love stories celebrated here.

We had the privilege of planning a wedding at The Palmetto Estate, and we have to say — it’s an absolutely beautiful place. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its timeless charm — tall oak trees, lush palms, and that warm, old-world atmosphere that instantly makes you feel you’re somewhere special. Every part of the estate seems to tell a story, blending history with natural beauty.

It’s not just a scenic backdrop; it’s a space where every detail feels thoughtfully crafted. The grand brick courtyard with its original wooden gates creates such a welcoming entrance, and the outdoor balcony offers incredible views — perfect for those meaningful moments and photos.

What truly stands out is how much love and dedication Brent, the owner, has poured into restoring this nearly 100-year-old Spanish Revival. You can see his passion in every corner — creating a setting that feels both elegant and personal. He’s committed to making sure every event here leaves a lasting impression.
