🌿 SCF Culture Connects in Wasilla! 🌿

Fish On Camp Grill is honored to be serving at Southcentral Foundation’s Culture Connects event tomorrow at the Benteh Nuutah Primary Care Center in Wasilla.

✨SCF provides healthcare for Alaska Native and American Indian people located in the Mat-Su Borough. Along with free soup and fry bread, there will be giveaways and a fun Photo Booth. After you grab a meal, stop by their coffee shop, purchase a delicious coffee, visit with friends and family, and enjoy this wonderful celebration of Alaska Native culture, wellness, and community.

Last Saturday dinner reservations for a while..

This will be our last dinner service until well after the Alaska State Fair as we shift our focus to bringing in our annual salmon harvest and preparing for fair season.

To make the evening even more special, we’ll have fresh oysters arriving from Cordova, along with our campfire-inspired seafood favorites, smoked specialties, and homemade desserts.

🌊 A New Season Begins at Fish On Camp Grill 🌊

This weekend will be our last dinner service until later this fall, after the Alaska State Fair.

As many of you know, late summer is when we shift our focus from the grill to the fish. It’s time to sharpen our ulus, roll up our sleeves, and begin one of the most important parts of what makes Fish On Camp Grill special.

We buy straight from an Inupiaq-owned fishing family, bringing in fresh Alaska salmon that we hand fillet, debone, vacuum seal, box, and stock in our walk-in. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s how we’re able to serve and cater with some of the freshest, highest-quality Alaska seafood all year long.

For us, salmon is more than an ingredient—it’s family, tradition, culture, and the lifeblood of Fish On Camp Grill.

And while we’re busy processing fish, our commercial kitchen on wheels will be getting a complete makeover, getting ready for another exciting season of serving you at the Alaska State Fair!

We can’t thank you enough for your support through another dinner season. We hope you’ll join us this weekend for one last campfire-style dinner before we head into salmon season.

We will be at the South Anchorage Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, from 9am to 2pm (located in O'Malleys parking lot at 11111 O'Malley Centre Drive) and for our VALLEY folks, we will be at Fish On Camp Grill from 5pm to about 6:30!!! Come see us at either location... let's get our oyster on!

Good afternoon - we have attempted offering breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, but coming to terms it’s not sustainable. We’re glad we gave it a shot to help keep some employees working more hours so we can keep them to ourselves (❤️). But we are pulling back and focusing on our catering, Friday and Saturday dinner service, and the Alaska State Fair. Stepping back from breakfast and lunch will help us focus on where our hearts really lie AND help us have more time to be “Auka” and “Poppy”.

Thank you for those who helped support our cafe during the week and we hope to see you soon!

Man did we get some Monsters in from Nome today Live or Boiled RED KING CRAB !! Come by and get you some. $55 a pound for whole and $70 for legs and clusters.These crab were swimming around this morning, DOESN'T GET ANY FRESHER THEN THIS!
