to the trip where it all started, exactly 6 years ago, we took a plane to Ohio to visit our sister (OK Vivi’s sister, therefore Andrea’s sister by association😝). She took us sightseeing to her favorite spots, which of course included a beautiful outdoor market.

Being the caffeine addicts we are, we saw a coffee cart and immediately rushed to it, it was the cutest cart with the most silky smooth coffee, it was perfection.☕️🥰✨

Andrea just saw the spot where to satisfy her need for caffeine, Viviana saw the desires of her heart turned into possibility. ❤️

When the trip was done, we both carried on with our lives, then, a world pandemic happened and it shook our realities. 🫨

We started having conversations, every time more often, about the possibility of opening a business together. We talked about our careers and our professional talents, but nothing was sparking any joy.

After a minute of silence inside one of our cars parked in-front of one of our homes, viviana confessed how ever since we went to Ohio and saw that coffee cart, she’s wanted to own one.

Coffee! Of course! How did it take so long to think about opening a coffee-related business together!? 99% of our encounters either start or end with coffee, and that, kids, is how Oruguitas Cafe was born. The name was an immediate response to the thought, and the thought was a heart desire born years before.💞

We are loving every minute of this wish come true, this is not a race or get rich idea for us, this is us, walking the path we desired for many years.

This is us, taking our friendship to a whole new level filled with adventure and possibilities. This is us, sharing our passion with anybody willing to take a sip! ☕️✨
