Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, stepdads and father figures. My dad is the reason I still get emotional during father speeches at weddings, during father of the bride dances and first looks with dads. He is also and incredible mentor and guide. You see, he went back to college at age 32 as a married father of two. He got his Doctor of Educational Leadership when i was in my 30s. He has been a mentor during this business journey… when i have questions about leadership and teams and management, he is thee person I go to for help. He proudly introduces me to his friend and his daughter “the entrepreneur”. He gives random people in bars and restaurants my website info. And I will never forget when I walked down the aisle and he gave my hand to my husband he said “now her bills are your problem”. So happy father’s day dad/beej/ professor! I love you!

Sometimes people ask, what does a wedding planner do? And I can list a whole lot of "stuff" that is important to the success of a wedding. But what we really do is create "moments". Little glimmers that the couple will remember for the rest of their lives. And they can enjoy the glimmers knowing that we have taken care of the "stuff". And that is PRICELESS. And it's why we love this job so much.

Today sharing some different ceremonies. The colors pop in the Gold Room at the Breakers while the white looks great at Amrit Ocean Resort and the Mediterranean Room at The Breakers. Wedding Ceremony doesn't have to be boring. But you want it to work with the space. At Amrit the ceremony decor doesn't compete with the view of the ocean.
