Please don’t touch starfish — this is a serious request to all tourists and guides.

To all visitors: leave starfish in the water.
And to all tour guides: please educate your guests about why this is so important

Lifting a starfish out of the water for a quick photo might seem harmless, but it can actually be fatal for the animal.

Starfish breathe through tiny structures on their bodies called dermal gills. These gills exchange gases directly with the water — it’s how they get oxygen. When taken out of the water, they can’t breathe. Fresh air is harmful to them, and they can’t hold their breath. Every second out of water is a struggle — like having your lungs filled with water.

When people repeatedly pull them out for photos, the stress and oxygen deprivation can be enough to kill them. It’s not just a cute picture — it could be the end of that creature’s life.

Wildlife isn’t here for our entertainment. Just because something is slow or easy to pick up doesn’t mean we should. And no amount of likes or shares is worth harming a living being.

Most of us didn’t know better in the past — but now we do. And that means we have a responsibility to change how we interact with the natural world.

What are the pillars that sustain your life?

For me, there's a couple of critical things I've learned:

-There are sequential stages of growth and development.
Don't skip the steps!

-Everything at the very beginning produces a lot of enthusiasm. The hard part is to keep that same mindset and same level of energy until the end. If you're capable to do so, you'll make it! It's called faith!

-Develop Self Tolerance Patience is not my forte but life has made sure I learn the hard way. This is the ability to love, forgive and respect yourself. This platform will help you handle rejection and loss.

-Consistency. This can only happen when you are clear about the PRINCIPLES that rule your life. Mine are:
Anticipation
Education
Dedication

I've been blessed and believe in sharing. Hope this will serve other people's purpose for growth!

Children from a very young age should be taught that the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West.
That if you point your right hand to the East, your face will face North and your back will face South.
That the direction of the water in a river often runs towards the sea.
That the Moon rises in the East and sets in the West, that if there is no moon there is a star that indicates the north and your latitude.
That the more to the horizon you see the Polar Star, the closer you are to the Equator, if you see a bird in the middle of the sea it is because there is land in the vicinity of where it flies.
Respect and love for animals, trees, the earth, and the elements that give us life.
Teach them all this before giving them a cell phone because the cell phone runs out and the signal is lost... wisdom is never lost.
Let's not let them lose connection.
