It is with great sadness that W**e Country Inn announces the passing of our General Manager, Ian Kelley, 42, on September 23, 2026 after undergoing treatment for leukemia.
Ian began his 19-year career at Quality Inn on Horizon Drive as a part-time night auditor in 2007 while finishing his accounting degree at CMU(Mesa State College). After graduation in 2010, he served as an accountant and front desk agent.
In June 2014, Ian was promoted to General Manager at W**e Country Inn and later as Comptroller of all business operations for the Tally family. His accomplishments at WCI include expansion of our restaurants, ballroom, and kitchen, leading the WCI team hosting Edesia the annual fundraiser for PrimeHealth Plus (formerly Marillac Clinic), managing Ten Acre Farm, helping to facilitate the purchase of Grande River Vineyards and recently serving on the Town of Palisade Tourism Commission.
Beloved by his family, friends, work family, business and civic colleagues, Ian will be deeply missed.
