Well, I don't know about Mary's garden, but our flower gardens are growing quite well this summer. Anyone interested in small bunches - pic below (cash & carry $15 + ) of fresh flowers for the weekend? Please let me know the day before so I can cut fresh stems. Can put in a vase and deliver for additional charges.

If you remember, back on June 1st, I stated it was time for a change or two. Well, the first big change came when we got the 2nd cooler in on June 12th. The 2nd change is that Reese constructed a 3rd flower work counter.

It was apparent back during Mother's Day week that it made it difficult for the 3 of us (me - Janice Fuller , Cara Stephens & Katelyn McCleave ) to work at the same time when we didn't have enough work space. And since the majority of our sales for each month is for floral, it just made sense that we add a 3rd counter. (To be clear - the counter that has the garden painted on the front is one of the older counters. And former owner, Nancy Knoblett painted that scene back in 2001.)
I still have some minor things to finish. Hope all is done by Labor Day.

This is what I have worked so hard for this spring - to get a second cooler back in!

When I went to college, my Father always stressed that even if I didn't use my degree for financial gain, the important lesson was to set a goal and work towards it!
Well, he was right about setting goals! I have used that advice well over the years and tried to pass it on to my daughter.

So it is only fitting that I accomplished this goal on what would have been my Father's birthday!

Fingers crossed that it works (can't plug it in yet - has to set upright after being tipped any). Huge thanks to Reese, Matt & Cara Stephens for helping us getting it in! And to Katelyn for taking care of the shop while we did that!

And huge THANKS to our customers out there for helping me achieve my goal this year!!! We are working hard to better serve our customers!!
