We're taking a break from hosting a group of fun-loving Houston Deadheads at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow for some tantalizing Texas Foodie Adventures. Besies our phenomenal food, we talked about going to The Sphere in Vegas again. We have tickets in May. The reviews from Deadheads and the playlists from the first 2 nights of the Dead and company Tour 2.0 have been fantastic. We loved hearing about the covers of "Gimme Some. Lovin" from The Spencer Davis Group and Eric Clapton's classic "Lay Down Sally." They must have been incredible. Throughout the years we always loved when the Dead and the The Jerry Garcia Band - JGB covered other artist's music. Especially from Bob Dylan and the Beatles. It's one of the many reasons we know the Jerry Garcia Band is incomparable. Wow we're busy at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. Deadheads love getting married here. Unfortunately we're too busy to go Vegas for the May 15th Dead & Company 2025 show at the Sphere. There's lots of great news at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. Besides booking a Being a DeadHead Memorial Day Weekend Wedding, we just heard from our daughter Emily and she's back in her apartment with her sweet kitty Miracle. We couldn't be more relieved and grateful. We wanted to thank everyone in the Dead & Company Tour Family for their support and prayers.

Even though we purchased our plane tickets to see the Dead & Company Sphere 2025 in May, yesterday was a long and difficult day at The The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow . That's because if you've been following the horrific wildfires in Los Angeles you know it doesn't take a lot to make your world turn upside down and burst into flames. Our beloved daughter Emily lives there and had to flee her home. She a Deadhead. Along with our son Harper, we were just in California visiting her and friends for Christmas. It was awesome and we spent time on Venue Beach watching the sunset near what was the Pacific Palisades community. That gorgeous neighborhood is all gone. It's completely destroyed. Fortunately she is safe for now, but it's a fluid situation. With those howling Santa Anna winds spreading the flames, things can change very quickly. It's a real life nightmare. We would like to thank everyone in the DFW Deadheads, Houston Deadheads, Jewish Deadheads and Deadhead Life - Grateful Dead To The Core! for their prayers and support. Please take a moment to remember what's really important and cherish the many blessings in your Deadheads life. Such a ling time to be gone and a short time to be there.

Good Sunday morning Grateful Dead Forever fans and greetings from The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. After grieving about the passing of Phil Lesh, we've decided to celebrate Phil's musical genius, passion, lunacy and leadership. One of our favorite memories of Phil was him doing something that rarely happens... Singing. No, it wasn't Box of Rain or Unbroken Chain. It was in Chicago at the 50th Anniversary shows at Soldier Field. The Fare Thee Well version of the band played Terrapin Station. Phil was the singer and it was a moving tribute to Jerry. His heartfelt performance touched everyone. That was Phil's gift and our blessing.

Like all Deadheads, The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow is in mourning today. The passing of Phil Lesh is so sad. Losing a member of the Grateful Dead Forever Family is never easy. His beaming smile and playful energy always warmed our hearts. Phil was a genius and added so much to the Dead's freedom of the jam. His thunderous base riff 'at the beginning of the "Other One " was a rocketship rush. A "Box of Rain' is one of our favorite songs and Robert Hunter's powerful lyrics encouraged us to live our lives with passion and purpose. His words said it all. Now that the epic Dead And Company Sphere 2024 Vegas residency has ended, many Texas Deadheads, DFW Deadheads, Jewish Deadheads, Houston Deadheads and Deadheads Deep Down South are looking for fun and exciting things to do together. Drums and Space has always been one of our favorite parts of Being a DeadHead and going to shows. The free form jam is always a highlight of the second set. It’s one of the many reasons we're big fans of Mickey Hart at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow and his many artistic talents. Aside from his passion for percussion, he is a man of many talents and global vision. Have you seen his artwork? His paintings are available for purchase on Ebay and online.

Did you watch the documentary, Rhythm Masters: A Mickey Hart Experience, last night on ESPN? You have check it out. It was an awe-inspiring look into the power and possibilities of Drums and Space. We hosted an intimate Watch Party at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow in Visit Palestine, Texas featuring some tasty Texas Foodie Adventures. This fantastic film looked into the close relationship between rhythm and sports. "The space of Now" is the pathway to great athletic achievement. This groundbreaking movie was dedicated to Mickey's best friend, the late, great and tallest Deadhead ever, Bill Walton.

In "Rhythm Masters," the legendary drummer creates an original score inspired by sports icons.

While we're only 10 percent of the population, we love our left-handed legacy at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. According to multiple sources, left-handed people are more creative and intuitive. Our lefty legions include Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, Renoir, Benjamin Franklin and countless Deadheads. Four of the five original developers of the Macintosh computer were lefties. When it comes to their careers, lefthanders with a college degree earn up to 26 percent more than their right-handed peers.

One of the best parts of seeing the Dead And Company Sphere 2024 was the Grateful Dead Forever and Being a DeadHead Experience at the Venetian Hotel. The history of the band and the Deadhead community was so inspiring to the founders of The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. Especially all the artifacts and memorabilia. Wow. What an incredible concert and wild night in Vegas. It was an amazing Show and worthy of the Dead And Company Sphere 2024 finale. Terrapin Station, Standing on the Moin, Brokedown Palace and Ripple were oriceless. We can't wait to get back to The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow to go through our photos, videos and notes. It was an epic concert and the cornerstone of the best Daughter -Daddy weekend ever.

Greetings from Las Vegas. Our Daddy and Daughter Deadhead weekend icontinues. It's been so awesome Being a DeadHead on the strip and connecting with other Deadheads from around the world. Grateful Dead Fans all wanted to know about The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow and our tantalizing Texas Foodie Adventures. Tonight's final show is going to be epic and sharing it with our remarkable daughter is such a love-filled experience. We've had a blast. Last night' we enjoyed an "old school" Italian feast way off the strip. The food was phenomenal and worthy of Deadheads in the desert. Today's going to be even better.
