We're so excited to be going to the IMAX theater AMC - Northpark Dallas on Sunday night for Dead & Company 2025 final 60th Anniversary Show. It's an awesome Plan B! Last night's Garcia-inspired sunset at our gorgeous 32 acre ranch got us super stoked. "Counting Stars by candlelight all that are dim but one is bright. The light of Spiral Venus rising first and shining best. On, from the northwest corner of a brand new Crescent Moon. Crickets and Cicadas sing a rare and different tune at Terrapin Station and The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow."

Michael slipped away solo from The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow yesterday to attend tonight's show. Then he flies back to Dallas early tomorrow for the Aggie Wedding Weekend of the Year. We're taking a break from hosting a group of fun-loving Houston Deadheads at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow for some tantalizing Texas Foodie Adventures. Besies our phenomenal food, we talked about going to The Sphere in Vegas again. We have tickets in May. The reviews from Deadheads and the playlists from the first 2 nights of the Dead and company Tour 2.0 have been fantastic. We loved hearing about the covers of "Gimme Some. Lovin" from The Spencer Davis Group and Eric Clapton's classic "Lay Down Sally." They must have been incredible. Throughout the years we always loved when the Dead and the The Jerry Garcia Band - JGB covered other artist's music. Especially from Bob Dylan and the Beatles. It's one of the many reasons we know the Jerry Garcia Band is incomparable. Even though we purchased our plane tickets to see the Dead & Company Sphere 2025 in May, yesterday was a long and difficult day at The The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow . That's because if you've been following the horrific wildfires in Los Angeles you know it doesn't take a lot to make your world turn upside down and burst into flames. Our beloved daughter Emily lives there and had to flee her home. She a Deadhead. Along with our son Harper, we were just in California visiting her and friends for Christmas. It was awesome and we spent time on Venue Beach watching the sunset near what was the Pacific Palisades community. That gorgeous neighborhood is all gone. It's completely destroyed. Fortunately she is safe for now, but it's a fluid situation. With those howling Santa Anna winds spreading the flames, things can change very quickly. It's a real life nightmare. We would like to thank everyone in the DFW Deadheads, Houston Deadheads, Jewish Deadheads and Deadhead Life - Grateful Dead To The Core! for their prayers and support. Please take a moment to remember what's really important and cherish the many blessings in your Deadheads life. Such a ling time to be gone and a short time to be there.

Good Sunday morning Grateful Dead Forever fans and greetings from The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow. After grieving about the passing of Phil Lesh, we've decided to celebrate Phil's musical genius, passion, lunacy and leadership. One of our favorite memories of Phil was him doing something that rarely happens... Singing. No, it wasn't Box of Rain or Unbroken Chain. It was in Chicago at the 50th Anniversary shows at Soldier Field. The Fare Thee Well version of the band played Terrapin Station. Phil was the singer and it was a moving tribute to Jerry. His heartfelt performance touched everyone. That was Phil's gift and our blessing.

Like all Deadheads, The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow is in mourning today. The passing of Phil Lesh is so sad. Losing a member of the Grateful Dead Forever Family is never easy. His beaming smile and playful energy always warmed our hearts. Phil was a genius and added so much to the Dead's freedom of the jam. His thunderous base riff 'at the beginning of the "Other One " was a rocketship rush. A "Box of Rain' is one of our favorite songs and Robert Hunter's powerful lyrics encouraged us to live our lives with passion and purpose. His words said it all. Drums and Space has always been one of our favorite parts of Being a DeadHead and going to shows. The free form jam is always a highlight of the second set. It’s one of the many reasons we're big fans of Mickey Hart at The Deadhead Ranch at Hummingbird Hollow and his many artistic talents.
