Live Multicam is Apple’s multicam production system built around Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 + the Final Cut Camera app. Think: turning your iPad into a director’s monitor that controls up to 4 iPhones/iPads at once. It gives you a 4-camera TV studio setup without extra hardware. You get the director’s view, remote control, and live switching that used to need multiple operators. People are using it for interviews, music performances, sports, and tutorials.
Even if you don’t do Live Multicam, Final Cut Camera is a solid free upgrade over the stock Camera app. You get 15x zoom, pro exposure tools, focus peaking, and manual white balance.
