We are so sad to hear the news that we have lost of one our own... Keith Evans. Keith was loved by everyone he met making many friends here in Page. He and his wife Marianne were a welcome addition to our event bringing "Smiley's Dream". He now joins his beautiful wife Marianne in heaven. Soft Landings as always Keith.

Our mission statement for the Corporation.

It is the mission of the Page Lake Powell Balloon Regatta to bring commerce to the Page Lake Powell area during our shoulder season. This major event also provides education in our schools and community about the science and history of Lighter than Air Flight, while delivering entertainment for spectators and recreation for our participating pilots.

We would like to address a common misconception we are seeing and hearing.
We have not refused financial transparency to the City.

We have financial records ready to share with the request that it be in a public work session or an agenda item for a council meeting so that all communication is kept public and is not done behind closed doors.

The City has denied the Event Committee both of those requests.

It's very sad that we must report The Page Lake Powell Balloon Regatta Organization has been denied an event permit by the City of Page. The City is starting their own event. This takes away from our efforts to do all the school programs and the ability to award scholarships. We have been so successful for 19 years and are extremely disappointed. We will miss our community and ballooning families.
