🚀 From thought leadership to cocktail hour.

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to partner with green room inc. for a Microsoft Build experience at Fort Mason, providing the audio, video, and technical support that helped bring this creative space to life. 
What started as an intimate presentation venue featuring industry leaders discussing the future of AI and software development quickly transformed into a vibrant networking and cocktail experience. Our team handled the sound reinforcement, video playback, confidence monitoring, and technical direction for the presentation portion, then seamlessly transitioned the space to provide audio support for the evening reception.

One of the things we loved most about this project was the incredible creativity of the Green Room team. The colorful scenic design, immersive installations, and thoughtful use of space turned a simple room into an engaging environment that encouraged conversation, learning, and connection.

Events like this are a great reminder that successful experiences happen when creative vision and flawless technical ex*****on work hand in hand.

🎧 Tuesday Tip: Don’t Let AI Set Your Entertainment Budget

AI can be a great tool for researching entertainment companies, getting referrals, and understanding pricing. But remember: AI only knows what it can find online.

It can see reviews, websites, and pricing information.

What it can’t accurately evaluate is:
✔ Experience with your specific type of event
✔ MC talent and crowd engagement skills
✔ Reliability and professionalism
✔ Staffing levels and backup plans
✔ Production quality
✔ The difference between a solo DJ and a full entertainment team

One of the biggest misconceptions we see is that all DJs are essentially the same.

They’re not.

A wedding DJ, club DJ, corporate DJ, and Bar or Bat Mitzvah entertainment team can all have very different skill sets, experience levels, and responsibilities.

The least expensive option can quickly become the most expensive mistake.
Instead of asking, “What’s the cheapest DJ?”

Ask:
👉 Who has experience with events like mine?
👉 Who will engage my guests?
👉 What exactly am I getting for the investment?
