September feels especially heavy. It’s hard to believe it has been a year since we lost such a great man.

We have a tribute to Charlie Kirk set up outside The Brick Room. His loss still doesn’t feel real. Through all the noise, what Charlie stood for—and the character with which he lived—remain intact. That is a testament to a life lived with courage and conviction.

We continue to keep his family in our prayers. We miss you Charlie.
