Our new store opens Dec. 1st in Ozark at 115 N. 3rd St. It will have something for everyone who likes flea markets and antiques. Though not an event, I'm posting here for now until I can get another FB page going for our store, "Positively 3rd St."

Those of you who enjoyed shopping at Trendy Treasures will be happy to learn that Mr. Blocker has made this his new location for selling DVDs and stereo equipment. Karen Knox and Angie Dunavant, who we all know and love, are joining us. We are also very excited to announce that our friend David Gifford, Arkansas’ American Art Pottery expert, will have many wonderful items for sale in the store.

My goal is to post daily here highlighting rare and fabulous things that will be offered at the show. We begin today with an item from Ozarkabilia: A pie safe built circa 1900 by the McLoud & Sparks Furniture Co., Fort Smith's first furniture company established in 1880. The company label is still affixed to the back. Included with the purchase is a bill of sale document.

Anyone who uses Apple computers may be wondering why the Convention Center isn't putting out spots for our show on their website and on their page. I checked their FB page just now and the most recent notice is a cancellation for the Moscow Ballet back in November of last year! I have been in contact with them and they say everything is working fine unless you are viewing from a iMac or iPhone. This is a issue that has just cropped up in the last week or two - weird! Maybe some of you can tell me if you are seeing this graphic I sent to them this week?

We have our name in lights! Our event is listed on the marquees at both ends of the building facing Rogers Ave. and Wheeler Ave. I took the photos with Rogers Ave. to my right. On turning to face Rogers, one sees the giant otter mural and this can be used as a guide in finding Hall B (see Stewart Webb pointing to Hall B).
