Salute Oyster Bay 🇮🇹
Today marks our last day at 76 South Street in Oyster Bay. It’s been an incredible 5 years and we are grateful beyond measure to our loyal employees, customers, farmers, suppliers and partners for a magnificent ‘avventura’. As we close one chapter we look back on how it all began. A dream to bring Simple, Clean, Responsible, Sustainable, Chef driven cuisine to Oyster Bay, NY. In Italian, ‘Osteria’ was originally a place serving wine and simple food. Our mission at honors that heritage by offering a select menu of modern Italian fare prepared with seasonally available ingredients from area farmers and vendors. We hand-roll each pasta EVERYDAY- it’s probably our favorite part of it all.
Today is Sunday, our final supper. Sunday is a day for family and for community to come together in appreciation and hope. Community is a word that comes up a lot with our Osteria Team. We have always had a real yearning to be part of something on Long Island that showcases the integrity of the community it represents. Come celebrate our passion for excellence. Curbside orders available for take-away, limited edition family boxes, all of our wine is for sale (add to your order when you pick up), reservations indoor (limited capacity) and outdoor (dress for the Italian Alps) and of course you could just ask Chef Peter to prepare whatever his heart desires and you are sure to be pleased.
