Applications are officially open for our Teen Summer Drawing Camp! ✏️☀️
Spend a full week drawing, experimenting, creating, and building your skills alongside other young artists in a fun and welcoming studio space 🎨
- June 15th–19th
- 9 AM–12 PM
At the Oxnard performing Arts Center

She’ll guide you step by step through the basics. By the end of the session, you’ll have a little handmade piece to take home to show off your new skills.

Inspired by the passion, culture, and community surrounding fútbol, Once Miradas, Un Balón (“Eleven Perspectives, One Ball”) brings together artists exploring the game through their own unique lens. From identity and memory to movement, fandom, and neighborhood pride, this exhibition celebrates how soccer connects people across generations and borders.

⚾ We had a blast at Pacifica High School this week!

We were proud to celebrate the unveiling of a new mural created through the Triton Art Collective, facilitated by OPAC, honoring the Pacifica Tritons Baseball Team and their incredible 2024 CIF Championship season. 🏆

Led by artist and mural instructor Alfredo Gonzalez, Pacifica students worked after school to create this bold piece celebrating the energy, pride, and spirit of Triton baseball. And of course, the reception took place right after a baseball game — the perfect way to bring the community together to celebrate both the team and the student artists behind the mural.

We love projects like this that give students a chance to leave their mark on campus while telling stories that matter to their school and community. Huge shoutout to the students, players, coaches, families, and everyone who helped make it happen!

AND! We're doing a summer session this year! Anyone interested can talk to Mr. Rosa in the Art Dept.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who was part of ROOTED this weekend. Whether you joined us as an attendee, exhibitor, facilitator, or volunteer, this event wouldn’t have been what it was without each of you. A special thank you to for being such an integral partner. This experience was deeply meaningful, and we’re especially grateful to Ana for her collaboration in sharing her knowledge with us. Through our collaboration, we were able to bring this beautiful event to life and that’s something we’re truly proud of. We felt ready to take on the challenge of diving deeper into this work thanks to Ándale and all of our wellness programs that we have been running for 3 years and counting. Their purpose has always been to offer creative and alternative outlets for our community, a space to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with ourselves. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead.
