We are a family owned business specializing in indoor/outdoor weddings and outdoor entertainment. We also have summer sand volleyball and corn hole leagues!

Fortitude Farms and Events is one of Mid-Michigan’s premier wedding venues. We offer a 2 acre u-cut flower field for you to snip and enjoy the beauty of locally grown flowers. Join us and others for one of our special Garden Dinners, a 4-5 course locally shopped and prepared dinner.

This bride chose the most beautiful way to say “I do” — with blooms grown right here on our farm. From the bouquet to the ceremony backdrop, every flower was handpicked just steps away from where she celebrated her big day. 🌿💍

There’s something so special about creating a wedding surrounded by flowers that were grown with love on the very same land where the memories are made.

We decided to increase our parking/security staff for weddings. For their first wedding, they did an exceptional job directing and communicating to guests on where to go.

We couldn’t be more proud of the way they stepped up and took control of all situations.

As much as we love for them to stay little, we are excited to have them help more with events

Tonight’s weather is absolutely perfect, and after tonight we only have next Tuesday and Thursday left before August Snip and Sips end. 🌸🍷The bar opens at 6:00 and the field closes at 9.

If you’ve been wanting to wander the flower fields at golden hour, sip something refreshing, and snip your own bouquet—this is your sign. Don’t miss out! 🌿🌼

Reminder for our weekend hours that will remain in effect throughout the entire season- Saturdays we close early (open 8am-10am) for ✨private✨weddings. This means the property is closed to the public after 10am on Saturdays. You-pick hours remain the same-Sunday through Friday from 8am-9pm. Thank you!

Our Story

What was once Bennington Hills Golf Course,

is now Fortitude Outdoor Fitness & Venue.

I love sharing my passion of fitness with others. This venture started in 2011 when I opened a personal training facility, Fitness Coliseum, in Owosso, Michigan. Working with individuals and groups, I began to see the vision of what fitness can do for others. In 2014, I completed my first Tough Mudder, the inspiration behind Fortitude. Since then, I have completed 10.

My outdoor fitness venture started in 2013 when I developed a half mile running trail and an area of obstacles for my clients and group fitness classes to train outdoors. Taking multiple groups to Warrior Dash, there was a revelation of excitement I saw in everyone. Realizing there was not a location for people to train and/or receive training, I developed the idea of Fortitude.

Bennington Hills Golf Course, located on M52, South of Owosso and seven miles North of I-69, was the ideal location for Fortitude Outdoor Fitness. With an overgrown blank canvas to work with, I have taken and developed the property into a one of a kind outdoor training location & venue. With 4 miles of groomed trails, an assortment of obstacles, benches and more, Fortitude Outdoor Fitness is a great location for you to get outside and enjoy the true beauty of nature.

I take pride in the land and what/how we evolve. From fitness to venue, we offer more on one piece of property than ever before. Spring, Summer and Fall is filled with events, sand volleyball, outdoor concerts, 5K races and more. My goal is for you to have a great time and experience when you visit Fortitude!
