Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the you-pick this year!

The You-pick is officially closed for the season.

Mother Nature has officially made the decision for us, our You-Pick is now closed for the season.

We always hope to keep the field open until our first true killing frost, but this year the combination of weeks of rain, increasingly cool nights, our first light frost, and now several more days of heavy rain has taken its toll.

The plants themselves are barely hanging on, and the quality of the field and the blooms just aren’t where we need them to be. With everything already stressed and production slowing this late in the season, the field simply isn’t going to have enough time to dry out, recover, and push another round of quality blooms.

And as much as we hate to call it, we would rather end our season here than continue opening a field that no longer gives our visitors the U-Pick experience we want you to have.

To everyone who came out this year, filled a cup, brought your kids, took pictures, told your friends about us, or came back week after week with your Seasonal Cup — thank you! We absolutely love seeing this field full of people enjoying the flowers we’ve spent months growing.

Thank you for another wonderful You-pick season!

This time of year we start planning and expanding for next year!

For the last 9 years, every Tuesday and Thursday summer night has been dedicated to co-ed 4v4 volleyball, competitive league play, and tournaments.

What started as just a fun game on the sand turned into a massive family of incredible people.

To everyone who played, cheered, brought the energy, and supported us season after season: THANK YOU. The laughter, court banter, and camaraderie over the last nine years are truly unexplainable. You made these summers unforgettable!

We turned the lights off over the sand for the last time last week. We are excited to expand the wedding venue but sad to see the end of volleyball here at Fortitude.

Again, thank you for all the great times and memories over the past 9 summers!

A Labor For Love

This year we focused on enhancing the grounds and landscape around the clubhouse, patio and tent space.

The Mattesons Photography documented the transformation from the early months of the year to now that is an area full of life and beauty.

Each year we find ourselves building and creating more for the venue. As the season moves on, we now see it as a labor for love!

Our new white ceremony wall and double doors are officially complete and ready for our upcoming couples! There is nothing quite like that magical second right before you walk down the aisle.
