Dear friends,

I hope this message finds you well. I've got some news to share that I hope will bring a smile to your faces as it has brought to mine.

After some time away from the industry I love, I've found myself drawn back to the kitchen, the customers, and the camaraderie that makes this work so rewarding. I am thrilled to announce that I have come out of retirement and am now managing the restaurant and banquet services at the Owosso Country Club.

I know some of you might be thinking, "But I'm not a member!" And that's what makes this all the more exciting. The Country Club restaurant is open to the public. If you choose to have alcohol, there is a nominal $35 social membership. You'll be able to enjoy not just the fine dining, but also the banquet and catering services.

And here's the cherry on top: our team. The same friendly faces and skilled hands from D'Mar are back together, ready to recreate and enhance the dining experience you've come to know and love.

We're rolling up our sleeves and ready to make your meals memorable again. We can't wait to welcome you back, to the new chapter, to the next course. So come join us at the Owosso Country Club, where the spirit of D'Mar lives on.

With a heavy heart this note is written to share that, due to the impacts of Covid-19, I will be closing D’Mar on September 26,2020. On behalf of the entire D’Mar team, I wanted to express our appreciation for your support over the last five years.

It’s been my pleasure serving our community during the past thirty years as a caterer, the last five of them as the owner of D’Mar Banquet and Event Center. Bringing a first class venue to Owosso had been a dream my husband Mike and I had shared for so many years. It has been a blessing to be able to help make so many dreams for others come true there over the last half decade. Though it’s difficult to say goodbye, I’m so grateful and honored to have been part of so many special occasions over the years. I’ll miss each and every one of you.

New 5.0-star Review: "Dianne and all the D'Mar staff was wonderful! Our wedding has been planned since early March, and less than a month before our wedding everything had to change. Dianne made sure everything ran smoothly and she was so knowledgeable about the industry. She verified any food allergies our guests had, confirmed final numbers, and even helped set up our venue {as our reception was held offsite}.The entire staff was super responsive throughout our reception. They responded to every guest need, cleared tables quickly, and we received many compliments on the food. I would definitely recommend Dianne and D'Mar to anyone looking for a caterer!!"

New 5.0-star Review: "We were scrambling to find a venue once Owosso Charter Township Hall canceled our open house booking due to a 5-2 vote of the township committee (panic of COVID-19). We called D'Mar and was quickly booked. Dianne provided multiple food option ideas which help make us feel more comfortable. We were glad to see the room was setup beautifully and our matched our decoration perfectly. The food was awesome and everyone loved it. Nearly all of our guest were impressed with D'Mar and we would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Dianne and team!"

New 5.0-star Review: "We chose D'Mar to have our wedding and our wedding reception at. We had a winter wedding so we chose to do both at the same location for safer traveling. If you are looking at D'Mar and you are not sure because you have to use their catering and their bartender, please consider it. They made it so easy to work with. They knew exactly what to do. I got numerous compliments on the bartender remembering drinks, being super friendly. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Ive done this both ways now one extremely low cost with good food both times. This was so much less stressful. Yes the money was tight but I was so at ease the whole day. I knew that if I had forgotten something that Diane would have me covered. She is great to work with just let her know your concerns and she will take care it! I highly recommend D'mar Banquet Center!"
