🚨We are FULL. Like... every kennel full.
Every extra space full. "How are there this many dogs. full. 🚨

Tulsa Animal Service is overwhelmed right now, and we urgently need adopters, fosters, and shares.

Dogs of every size, age, and personality are waiting for homes tonight. Some are playful, some are scared, some are goofy, and some think they're lap dogs despite being 70 pounds. But they're all waiting.

The good news? Adoption fees are WAIVED through Sunday, May 10.

Severe Weather Risk Increasing Friday

Storm chances will increase across Oklahoma Friday afternoon and evening as a strong storm system moves into the Plains.

The Storm Prediction Center highlights much of Oklahoma in a severe weather risk, and confidence is growing that storms will develop late in the day.

Here is what we are watching closely:

• Storms likely develop after 4 PM Friday
• Large hail and damaging winds will be possible
• A few tornadoes cannot be ruled out, especially if storms remain more isolated
• The highest risk currently appears across central and eastern Oklahoma

The setup includes increasing instability, strengthening wind shear, and a dryline pushing east, which could allow storms to intensify quickly Friday evening.

It is still a few days out, so the exact placement of the highest threat will continue to shift, but this is a period worth keeping an eye on.

I’ll continue to refine the timing and tornado potential as new data comes in.
