Vineyard Youth Theater provides Acting Programs for ages 3-17. We pride ourselves on helping youth become future leaders through the visual arts. Our program is know to help youth to gain confidence in themselves, and learn how to work with others around their age group.
Programs Available:
Center Stage:*This program is for ages 7-17. *This is a full scale play preformed on stage with a script provided for students to preform. * Students are required to audition for this program. But, don’t worry, Everyone receives a speaking part and will not just be an extra in the background! *We provide the scripts, music,costumes, and the magic of learning how to preform for an audience.**The only thing you need to provide is black shoes. **
Theatre Works: *This program is for ages 8-16. *This is an all hands on theatre experience! Students help write/produce/make props/ backdrops/ and some costumes. * At the end of the program, students present their play for family and friends on the stage. * All that you need to provide is black shoes, and a wild imagination! *
Stargazer: *This program is for ages 3-6. * * This is an intro to theatre for young children. * Student and Parent/Care Giver will engage in games, book reading and learning how to become characters.* A Parent/Care Giver is required to stay and participate with the student during practice!* Children will learn a small skit or dance to preform during the Center Stage’s Final Performance. (Don't worry parent/care giver you don’t have to be on stage with them for this part)* All you need to provide is black shoes, and bring your childish spirit with you to practice.
