Happy Friday. I wanted to post some lovely ideas for flowers, and wish you a wonderful weekend.

On a sour note, our phone provider has an emergency that has taken down most of our phone lines, leaving us with one. Currently the eta on the fix has been every single day for the past three, so we are sending out a message because you literally get a message if the one line is not available that our phones have been disconnected (not really acceptable). On November 5, 1941, William (Dee) and Anne Dalton purchased a two acre tract of land in Overland Park, Ks. Besides the family home, the land included three 150 foot greenhouses, a countrified car garage, acreage enough to grow blooming plants and cut flowers, and a chicken coop. A lot has happened through those 79 years to the our business and our family; however, today, Dalton’s Flowers stands as one of Kansas City Area’s leading name in flowers. We understand our customers and we love what we do, that is our winning combination. Ordering flowers is a personal event and we understand the many ways that flowers work in others’ lives. We want to travel with you through your countless milestones. We have had the joy of witnessing the joy of a birth, ceremonial occasions of a young person from religious milestones to scholastic ones. We love being there for first love with a corsage and boutonniere at a first dance, continuing that love through courtship to a breathtaking wedding. We will consult for the special occasions like anniversary flowers and birthdays or for every day occasions- just because. And we will be there for you at a loved one’s funeral to help with the flowers.
