One of the goals I set for myself was to quit hoarding my photography, and let people see more of what I do. I had to be okay that some people will not like what I do, I had to be okay with what I do. The only person that matters is me. I know some people are going to be extra judgy, and that is okay. But I am learning to deal with that. So with Covid-19 and the pandemic that kind of made it difficult to go out and take photos like I used to. That meant to keep my creative juices flowing, I have been going into the archives and editing the ones I have taken in years past. During this time I learned of 2 photo contests. I thought why not enter, all they can say is no. At least I can give it a good college try. The first contest I entered I had to do a video talking about myself, my photography and enter about 13 photos. That was rough, I hate talking about myself like that, but I pushed through it. The second contest made me have a storyline that had to enter. I have never thought about something like that before and I thought why not enter. I would be mad at myself if I didn't do it. So while driving around one day, I had a light bulb go off in my head, and from there my "Love Wins" concept came about. I thought I share what photos I entered. I thought about as a woman all of all of the things we love in life, sometimes conventional and sometimes not. I hope you enjoy this collection. I am for sure going to be expanding this collection, I enjoyed it so much. THANK YOU to all my models. You all said yes without hesitation, even when it sounded crazy when I was describing what I had planned. Please enjoy " Love Wins"
