The LongHouse Community Art Gallery is officially open at the Arboretum! 🌸 You can find it near Café Celeste in the LongHouse Visitor Center.

We’re kicking things off with “Florals,” an exhibit of stunning watercolors by the late J.R. “Jim” Hamil. Come see his beautiful artwork now through April 30.

Please join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 8 from 4-6 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

Ready to showcase your art in a breathtaking setting that attracts nearly 150,000 visitors annually? The City of Overland Park, Kansas Government, in cooperation with the Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, is seeking artists for permanent installations at the LongHouse Visitor Center at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

Submission Deadline: December 2, 2024
Location: LongHouse Visitor Center, Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
Eligibility: Open to artists 18+, priority to KS & MO residents
