Tonight will be the debut of our newest escape room: The Play Room. Designed for kids aged 8-12, the Playroom is one mama's answer to the classic childhood complaint of "I'm bored." Kids are locked in the play room until they play with toys in 10 zones long enough to extract a code from each. They must unlock the tools that punch their ticket to freedom... and open their minds to creative problem solving and fun.
I hope the kids at the Harvest - A Church of New Beginnings enjoy this at their lock in!

We tried a new game tonight, and look who won! Nunatak is a tile placement game. That means on your turn you have to place something in order to try to earn points. There are many ways to earn points and all kinds of strategic options. It plays pretty quickly, but I wouldn’t call it simple. We enjoyed it.
