Last weekend, we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating Alyssa and Alec. It is quite remarkable to think that their wedding day was already a week ago. Time certainly seems to pass swiftly, particularly after such a magnificent celebration.

After 17 wedding seasons, messages like this still stop me in my tracks. This is why I do what I do.

Yes, I love the flowers, the candles, the installations, and all the beautiful details... but what means the most is being trusted to walk alongside families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

To calm nerves.
To solve problems quietly behind the scenes.
To fluff dresses, pin boutonnieres, carry bouquets, light candles, move tables, pack up memories, and somehow help bring peace to the middle of a whirlwind day.

Being invited into these sacred family moments is something I never take for granted.
