She LOVES Hot Air Ballons! Special treat for her birthday today. Indianola National Ballon Classic. We took a ride about 5 years ago as a present from our oldest son. I think we’ll be going again!!

It's been a busy summer!! This past weekend we celebrated the marriage of our son, Josh to Karah in Indianapolis.

The traditional ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

It was a day we had been anticipating for well over 4 years! Our family has grown again!! Karah's family is wonderful, and we are so happy to be part of it!

Linda designed the Bride's Bouquet for Karah from flowers we took along as well as flowers locally sourced in Indianapolis.

Special thanks to Karah, Amber, Emily, and Sharla for taking care of the shop and our customers as we celebrated this wonderful event.

Life is GOOD!!

Each year we have the privilege of placing memorial flowers at gravesites for family members that live out of the area.

It’s an honor to do this and a reminder to remember the sacrifice of the men and women that served and died to keep us free.

We also remember all our family and friends that have left before us and the love, joy, happiness we cherish.

Enjoy the time today with family and friends! Make those memories that last a lifetime!!

This should be the final Contruction Update for the Downtown Sidewalk Upgrade.

The contractor began pouring concrete yesterday so in a few days-next week hopefully- we will be able to resume walk-in traffic in the front door!!

Many customers have found the rear store entrance in the alley, and we are thankful for that.

We do want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to POPP EXCAVATING for working to keep the sidewalk open last weekend (Mother's Day) for our customers. We were very busy!

We are currently receiving orders for Memorials to be placed in local Cemeteries for your loved ones. This is a service we offer to many out-of-town customers who wish to remember and honor those that have gone before us. If we can be of help give us a call.

Our Newest Grandson, Gabriel, arrived a bit early (last Saturday) and both mother and new baby are doing well and home already. We have been and will continue to do some "grandparent things" with the other four boys (age 9-3) while everyone gets settled back in. It's so much FUN!!

We appreciate our employees who help make this all work, especially during busy holidays, and YOU our customers for your continued support.

We are open TODAY!!

9 am until 1 pm

We originally posted open until 2pm but we became grandparents for the fifth time yesterday afternoon. Mother and baby are doing well but we need to travel to see them.

We have a few Hanging Baskets available as well as several beautiful fresh-cut arrangements!!

If you didn’t have time to shop for mom stop up and we can help you find something very nice.

Sidewalk Removal is beginning. The Contractors are working with us to provide access to the store through the front entrance during the process.

In addition, we have an overhead door in the rear of the building that provides access to the sales area during construction.

Our Business Hours remain unchanged with the following exceptions:

THIS SATURDAY MAY 10th we will offer extended hours. Hours will be 9 am to 4 pm.

SUNDAY MAY 11th, Mother's Day: 9 am to 2 pm.

Our delivery operations for Mother's Day and going forward through construction WILL NOT be affected by construction.

Our nice selection of Hanging Baskets will by moved behind the building when needed.

Thanks for being patient with us, the contractors, and supporting downtown businesses during the construction.

Mother's Day is NEXT Sunday May 11th!!

Mom LOVES flowers!! We make it easy to show your love and appreciation with a beautiful fresh-cut floral arrangement or beautiful Geranium or Mixed Hanging Basket.

Each year we offer a two Special Arrangements along with our beautiful Rose selections and Designer Choice Options.

The first special is "Wings of Love" shown here at $55 and is also available at $50 Standard or $65 for the Premium version.

The "Love you A Latte" is set in a keepsake cup shown at $45 with the Standard Version priced at $35.

The images of grouped arrangements provide a glimpse of some of the designs that fall under "Designer Choice" when you order. The arrangements shown are priced from $25-$55. Designer Choice options are available at any price you choose from $25 TO $150.

Our DOZEN ROSES arranged in a vase is $89 (The same as last year)

TARIFF UPDATE: No need for concern when you buy from us. We source the majority of our FRESH FLOWERS and PLANTS from growers located here in the midwest. Some product may originate in Central America because of more favorable climate but our prices have NOT been affected by tariffs.

We source as many of our gift items as close to home as possible and work closely with several companies located right here in Iowa to support American Made whenever possible.

SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTCTION UPDATE: We know at some point our FRONT ENTRANCE may not be accessible. We will have provisions for walk-in traffic to enter through our rear overhead door.

DELIVERY SERVICE: We will have NO INTERPUTION in our delivery services for Mother's Day and have a full delivery crew scheduled.

We will have EXTENDED BUSINESS HOURS next Saturday and we will be open from 9 am to 2 pm on Mother's Day.

Sorry for the length of this post but there seems to be a lot happening this year that impacts business. We are committed to serving you as we navigate to "bumps in the road".

Progress continues on sidewalk replacement in Downtown Osage!!

As the construction crews move along main street we know at some point they will arrive in our block. The traffic and parking interruption for us could be around Mother's Day.

This will create some inconvenience for our customers but the City will try to accommodate as well as possible with temporary access over Mother's Day Weekend.

The construction WILL NOT affect our delivery services for Mother's Day orders. While the work is being completed in front of the store, WE WILL HAVE ACCESS FOR WALK-IN STORE TRAFFIC through our BACK ENTRANCE OVERHEAD DOOR.

WE WILL BE OPEN MOTHER'S DAY, as in past years, from 9 am until 1pm.

Additionally, we will have our usual nice selection of Geraniums and Hanging Baskets available at the rear of the store if the sidewalk is torn up.

We are currently receiving orders for Mother's Day and will have our delivery crew set up and ready to go!!

Once again, the ladies have created two Special Floral Designs to go along with the large on-line selection and our hanging baskets.
