Congratulations to Kelsey & Kegan! 💍🌅

Their love story began in high school…Kelsey was a sophomore and the football manager, and Kegan was on the football team. Eight years later, they said “I do” at Waterfront Weddings on October 10! ❤️

Their proposal was so sweet! During sunset in Virginia Beach, Kelsey picked up a shell waiting in the sand. When she opened it, she found the words “Will you marry me?” She turned around, and Kegan was there with the ring! 🐚💍

From a beach sunset proposal to a lakefront sunset wedding, their story came together beautifully. They celebrated with dinner, cake, and thoughtful keepsakes their friends made to make the day even more special.

Tatiane & Daniel 10/3/26 💍

Tatiane came from Brazil to the U.S. for an exchange program, never expecting she would meet her future husband! ❤️ She and Daniel fell in love, and on October 3, they said “I do” here at Waterfront Weddings.

Daniel’s family joined them for their lakeside celebration. Although Tatiane’s family couldn’t attend, they have a wedding video to share with her loved ones back in Brazil.

With their young son, James’s teenage son, and family and friends joining the celebration, their trip to Lake of the Ozarks became a vacation with a very special occasion at its heart. 🥂

Lybia & Logan — A Love Story 10 Years in the Making 💕

Some love stories really do begin when you’re just kids. Lybia and Logan started dating in 7th grade at just 12 years old. Ten years later, they’re still side by side, already own a home together, and now they’re husband and wife! 💍

Lybia, Logan, and their families traveled all the way from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Lake of the Ozarks to celebrate this next chapter at Waterfront Weddings. And what a beautiful evening it was! From their lakeside ceremony to the glowing lights after sunset, these two could not have been any sweeter. 💗

After ten years of growing up and growing together, it was such a joy watching them say “I do.”

After 10 years and 10 months together, Jane and Lee decided it was finally time to say “I do!” These two actually knew each other in high school, but life took them in different directions. Years later, their paths crossed again at a robotics tournament with their children — and this time, the timing was right. ❤️

They waited until their kids were finished with school to get married, then traveled all the way from Wisconsin to Lake of the Ozarks to elope and enjoy a little wedding getaway at the lake. 🌊💍

We loved being a small part of such a special chapter in their story. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs.! Wishing you many more years of love, laughter and adventures together! 🥂❤️

Some love stories take 20 years to find their perfect timing. ❤️

Lisa & Lee knew of each other back in high school, but their lives took them in different directions. They each went on to marry, raise families, and build lives of their own.

Then, more than 20 years later, their paths crossed again. And this time, it was different. They both say they knew on their very first date that what they had was love. ❤️

Eight months later, Lisa & Lee came to Waterfront Weddings all the way from Oklahoma to celebrate their love with a beautiful commitment ceremony overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks. 💍🌊

And one of my favorite little twists in their story? They both have sons named Clint! 😊 Sometimes you just have to wonder if life was dropping hints all along.

💍 Congratulations, Aleena & Tyler! ❤️

Friday evening was filled with love, family, and faith as Aleena & Tyler said “I do” at Waterfront Weddings. ✨

Their story has such a sweet beginning. Before Tyler and Aleena were even introduced, Tyler’s mom met Aleena and went home and told her son she had met his future wife. ❤️ Not long after, the two were introduced—and Tyler quickly agreed with his mom. Aleena was definitely the one. 🥰

Originally from Michigan, Aleena & Tyler made the move to the Lake of the Ozarks to be closer to Aleena’s dad and stepmom. For their wedding, Tyler’s family, along with Aleena’s mom and stepdad, traveled to the Lake to celebrate this beautiful new chapter with them.

Their pastor performed a heartfelt ceremony centered around their strong faith in God, including a beautiful communion shared during the ceremony. 🙏🏻 Their faith is such an important part of their relationship and a bond they will carry with them throughout their marriage.

It was a beautiful evening celebrating two people who truly found their person. ❤️

Jacqueline & Alex | 09.12.26 💍

Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it… and Jacqueline & Alex’s story is proof of that. 😍

When Jacqueline was new to town, she happened to meet Alex while she was actually on her way to another first date! Later, the two met up to play chess, and somewhere between all those games, a friendship turned into something much more. ♟️❤️

Alex eventually proposed during a beautiful stroll through Powell Gardens, and when it came time to choose their wedding date, they picked one that already meant everything to them…their second anniversary.

On September 12th, surrounded by family and friends, Jacqueline & Alex made it official at Waterfront Weddings overlooking the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. From their lakeside ceremony and unity sand to cake, laughter, dancing and photos beneath the DREAM sign, it was such a sweet evening celebrating these two.

Victoria and Bay knew each other in high school, but life took them in different directions. They each married, built families, and became parents to two children. Then this January, their paths came back together and it didn’t take long for either of them to realize they had found their person. ❤️

Their intimate elopement was made even sweeter by someone very special. Victoria’s best friend, who has been by her side since they were just 3 years old, came to be a witness, even though she had given birth to her baby only one week earlier! 🥹 That is a friendship of a lifetime, and having her there made an already special day even more meaningful.

💜 Congratulations, Amy & Brian! 💜

After four years together, Amy and Brian made it official at Waterfront Weddings surrounded by their beautifully blended family. 💍

Brian did everything right when it came time to propose. He first asked Amy’s parents for her hand in marriage, then wrote her a love letter and entrusted it to her daughter to give to her. On New Year’s Eve, Amy thought they were simply going out to see the Christmas lights… but Brian had a much bigger surprise waiting. Under the Christmas tree, he asked her to marry him. ❤️🎄

Together, they’ve created a beautiful blended family with their three daughters, and you could truly feel how much love this family has for one another.

Their wedding morning was definitely a HOT one ☀️, but even the heat couldn’t compete with the love radiating from this couple and their family. Amy and Brian even shared their first dance to “I’m Gonna Love You” by Cody Johnson & Carrie Underwood — such a perfect choice for them. 🥹

It was truly an honor getting to know this wonderful family and being part of such a special day.
