*GF* This weekend we're bringing back a favorite cozy side dish: Kory's Creamy Bacon Brussels!
The first time he made these for me, I literally swooned 😆
Halved brussel sprouts get caramelized on the flat-top then baked in garlic, bacon, heavy cream, S&P, topped with parmesan until they are tender and golden goodness 😋
It's absolutely decadent!

As requested, this weekend I will be making Chicken Lemon Rice Soup!
Juicy chicken breast, jasmine rice, tender carrot, celery, & onion in a homemade chicken bone broth with fresh squeezed lemon juice and herbs 😋
It's DELICIOUS!!

Soup this weekend is my Roasted Tomato Basil Bisque! That couldn't please me more because I have been FIERCELY craving the absolutely incredible grilled cheeses that we have perfected to go with it!!

Neither of these are traditional!

To begin with the soup... it's just simply divine!
San Marzano tomatoes, shallots, and perfectly ripe sweet red bell peppers get roasted along with bulbs of garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
Roasting them brings out new, savory flavors, that simply boiling does not produce.
The ingredients get broken down and incorporated with an immersion blender, then back onto the heat. At which point, freshly chopped basil (to add that one recognizable thing that completes this soup!) and salt & pepper get added. Next, I bring in some balsamic vinegar to offset the acidity of the tomatoes. Once the flavors have come together, I add heavy cream to balance this delicious Bisque into what I would call "Perfection".

Our delicious Roasted Tomato Basil Bisque screams for salty, buttery, crispy, cheesy "something" to accompany it!

All weekend (while supplies last) we will be making what is literally the absolute BEST Grilled Cheese Sandwiches that I have ever had!
Texas-Sliced Brioche Bread and handfuls of freshly shredded Provolone, along with your choice of slow-smoked meat (1/2 pound!!), this sandwich is an entire whole thing! The bread stays super soft and fluffy while still getting that incredible crust, in a way that only Brioche provides. The cheese-pull is literally picture-worthy!
*Brisket is my favorite, hands down!

You can add our house-made sauce and jalapeños to the cooking process when you order at no charge. Bacon is extra. This sandwich is just honestly incredibly good!

Both are available until everyone gets them!!

SUNDAY SPECIAL:
Everyone's been begging "Please!! 🙏".... so, as promised last week, I will be personally making BBQ Quesdillas for you!
Your choice of Brisket (my fave!), Pulled Pork, Burnt Ends, or whatever you want...seared on the flat top in a delicious citrus chipotle bbq glaze until the edges are caramelized but the inside is still tender and juicy - piled onto an extra large tortilla loaded with a cheddar-jack blend of cheeses, then topped with more! 🧀 Grilled until toasty and melty - served with homemade salsa and sour cream! 😋
These things are STACKED... they deliver!... and they ALWAYS sell us out of meat for the day!
Available until I just can't make them anymore!

Most of you know our story... it's quite the tale! We started from the concrete up and have battled for our humble little slice of heaven that we have here in Ortonville. It's the town that we live in and the place where we get to do what we love doing...and we get to serve the most incredible group of humans that we've ever met!
Posts like this....I can't say there are no words, because I have many! But wow, it just means so much! I had to share - we are incredibly thankful for all of you and for the amazing opportunity that we have to do this for, and with you - it truly fills my soul ❤️
