Our top 5 horror stories are not for the faint of heart đŸ‘»

Here’s why: 👇

1.) Not having a timeline is a recipe for disaster. It helps guide you throughout the day and when things are supposed to happen. So not having one leaves everyone confused and wondering what the next steps are.

2.) Having a timeline detailed down to the second is unrealistic. Doing that doesn’t account for all the things that actually happen on the day of. The timeline should be a guideline and not an end all be all for when things are happening.

3.) Saying you don’t need a coordinator and your friend can do it is almost always a mistake. We’re not counting the friends that are professionals, we are talking about the amateurs. With years of experience, we know what to prepare for and can identify problems before they happen without you even knowing about it. Your friend that’s just Type A can’t do that quite yet.

4.) Doing specific traditions only to appease your family will have you slightly spiteful towards them later on. Especially if it’s something you truly don’t want to do. This is your day and you should be able to look back on it fondly by doing whatever brings you the most joy.

5.) Chair ties. If you know, you know.
