Families are messy.

They get on your nerves.
They disappoint you.
Sometimes they misunderstand you.
Sometimes they hurt you.

But you don’t stop being family because things get difficult.

The Church was never meant to be a gathering of perfect people. It’s a family of imperfect people being transformed by a perfect God.

One of the enemy’s greatest tactics is to use offense, disappointment, and unmet expectations to disconnect us from the very people God has placed in our lives for growth, healing, accountability, and encouragement.

If you’ve ever been tempted to walk away from the Church because of people, remember this: every family has issues. The answer isn’t abandonment. The answer is commitment.

Tomorrow we’re having an honest conversation about why the Church matters, why God designed it the way He did, and why we need one another now more than ever.

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday — the birthday of the Church here on earth! What better way to celebrate than by gathering together in worship and then staying for our Sunday Dinner immediately after service?

Don’t let the enemy get in your head or your heart and talk you out of coming tomorrow. There is something powerful waiting for you in the room. The service is going to be explosive, the fellowship is going to be life-giving, and the food is going to be delicious!

Bring 5 people with you and come expecting God to move in a powerful way. And don’t forget to wear your WHITE!
