Man, it's been a journey. Many ups and downs, but overall a good, and peaceful lesson. Thank you to everyone who supported our small, family owned business, and thank you for all the genuine love shown. As you all know, my husband Shaun passed away 6/29/22, and the children and I have started a new chapter in Georgia. The center has been officially closed since 7/30/2022. My children and I are moving forward with the Lord, Christ Jesus, and we're looking forward to the new chapters with God. We pray you all have a blessed life in the Lord Jesus Christ, and again thank you everyone. To God be the Glory 💕

My Journey....

Wow, I never thought I would be writing anything like this, but here we go. I, Yolanda D. Sheppard, am the owner of Y&S Chateau. In 2016, I was inspired to plan and decorate my own wedding. Needless to say, it was a lot of work, but very beautiful in the end. I’ve always worked a 9-5pm job. And the only entrepreneurs I had in my life were street pharmacists, if you know what I mean. lol. So I was embarking on a journey I had never seen before. After much reading, vision boards and bathroom talks with my best friend/husband Shaun Sheppard, I decided to pursue opening up an Event Venue, with the vision of my decor preference (Jazzy, Blues, Neo Soul, Vintage Swag) I know, long description, but needed to see the whole picture. So here we are, full force, now planning and decorating many events with a lot of different people, with different personalities and different visions. It’s been a beautiful journey thus far, and I look forward to the future. Our venue is located in Downtown, Orlando. We’re currently working on renovations. We anticipate to be open September 2019; Super EXCITED. In the meantime, we’re doing off-site events and loving every moment of it. Thank you for visiting our page. It truly means a lot to us.

P.S… Remember, God is AMAZING and the earth is full of beauty and many opportunities… I’m just now fully embracing it, and never looking back. I hope you do the same, whatever journey that may be for you.
