Sometimes a client just has to relinquish control + trust the process. It can be hard to fully imagine in your head how the elements of patterned carpet, patterned linens, patterned dance floor and chargers on some tables and not on others could possibly come together beautifully. However, with the right planner, who has the trust of her client, real magic can happen! ✨

I’m still a big fan of a private last dance between the newlyweds. Not only does it give them an opportunity to let the day sink in one last time, it also allows us to get all the guests set up for the grand exit without wasting any time.

But, one of the reasons I love this tradition most is because seeing the bride + groom on the dance floor alone with the room perfectly messy, chaotic even, after a day filled with such joy is symbolic of marriage… life can be messy, chaotic + joyful, but you’re in it together! There’s nothing more beautiful than that🤍

From the gator skulls + the oyster shooters to the cow hide rug + palm frond linens, this late night room was filled with special details… + ended up being a total vibe🌴
