Come celebrate their 3-year anniversary with us tomorrow at the Tap That Beer House—our 360 photobooth 📸 will be there to capture the fun!
TAP THAT BEER HOUSE HAS SURVIVED 3 YEARS
3 years ago April 21st I did a thing…against all odds. And it felt like the odds were against me. Three years of believing in a dream that still feels impossible. I can’t help but be a little (okay…a lot) sentimental when I look back at this journey. I'm proud of what I've accomplished as a woman-owned small family business…the American dream…my kids worked for me…I sold my books in here…a book club met in here for my book! I have no words to express how full my heart is. But this dream is not an easy one. And I’ve had to pivot…a lot.
Against all odds I never gave up…against every moment I said, “Is this it? Is this last month?” slow days, slow nights, slow weeks, slow months…with a few delightfully busy days sprinkled between. But those delightfully busy days made it all worth it and give me hope of what this impossible dream could be if I don’t give up. Three years of pouring my heart into this dream while totally neglecting my husband, parents, house, and friends. (Sorry…thanks for understanding ;)
I’ve survives through stubbornness and determination fueled by the people who kept walking through these doors, watching friendships forming, and strangers becoming family.
We’re not breaking even… yet. But we are still standing and that feels like something worth celebrating. Please keep showing up and telling your friends about Tap That Beer House so we can stay open.
Because this place isn’t your average bar.
It’s you.
So yeah, we (me and you) made it 3 years.
And damn it…
we’re celebrating.
Come raise a glass, and help me prove this little “hanging on by a thread” dream still has some fight left in it.
Cheers to you for keeping the dream alive. Cheers to one of the best chapters of my life.
Here’s to the next chapter… whatever it becomes.
*A special shout out to those who donated to the GoFundMe that got me this far. And to those who helped me when I was at my lowest. You know who you are. And to Suzanne and Abby who I don't consider employee's, I consider friends.
