Planning a yacht party in Miami? 🛥️ SAVE THIS before you book your décor. 📌

Yacht setups are a very different from decorating a traditional venue, and there are a few things you should know before you start planning:

1. Check the yacht’s décor restrictions FIRST.
Every yacht is different. Ask what can be attached, which areas can be decorated, and whether there are any restrictions your decorator needs to know about. This can completely change what’s possible for your setup.

2. Find out exactly how much setup time your decorator will have.
Don’t assume your decorator can arrive whenever they need to. Marina access, boarding times, and the yacht’s schedule can create a much tighter installation window than a traditional venue.

3. Design for the yacht you actually booked.
A yacht already has built-in seating, walkways, low ceilings, and limited floor space. The goal isn’t to squeeze décor into every available corner — it’s to strategically use the space while still leaving room for your guests to actually enjoy the boat.

A beautiful yacht setup starts before setup day. Knowing the logistics ahead of time helps us create something that looks good AND works for the space. 🛥️✨

Save this for your yacht party planning + send it to somebody planning one!

From the focal point to EACH individual bed… everything understood the theme. 😮‍💨

Kallie’s 7th birthday was a full NeeDoh sleepover experience, customized from top to bottom!

Her focal point featured a custom-designed backdrop, personalized name signage, themed cutouts, balloon installation + marquee #7. 🎈✨

Then we carried the theme right into the sleepover — coordinating teepees, bedding, tray tables + custom goodie bags for each guest. Each bed had its own color and the goodies matched right along with it.

And yes… even the Gatorades matched the beds. 😂💅🏽 Because details matter ✨

This is what we mean when we say CUSTOM. You pick the theme + 6SC brings the whole experience together. ✈️

I should’ve known better 😭😂🌧️

If you wanna be an event decorator in Florida, go ahead and add part-time meteorologist to the job description. 😂 One thing this business WILL teach you is how to improvise, adjust the plan + keep it moving when the weather decides to do whatever it wants. 😩

Because apparently checking the weather app 47 times still ain’t enough. 😭

Rain or shine, the setup still gotta SET. 😮‍💨🎈✈️
