And make friends who somehow feel like you’ve known them for lifetimes.

That’s the thing about fantasy events.

It was never really about escaping real life.

It was about finding a place where the parts of you that feel like “too much” everywhere else suddenly make perfect sense.

Where dressing up isn’t weird.

Being obsessed with books isn’t childish.

And wanting a little more magic out of life doesn’t need an explanation.

🩷 girlhood is so much more magical when you find the right girls to do it with 🩷

It’s getting dressed up just because you can. Complimenting a stranger’s outfit and becoming friends 10 minutes later. Taking 47 pictures of each other until everyone gets one they love. Dancing until your feet hurt. Laughing in the bathroom. Living out the fantasy worlds you used to only read about.

And somehow leaving with people who don’t feel like strangers anymore.

Maybe that’s why these nights mean so much to us.

It was never just about the dresses, the fantasy balls or stepping into another world.

It was about finding each other.

The kind of girlhood we never want to outgrow. 🤍
