A Friendly Reminder to Wedding Coordinators
I get it—wedding coordinators have a million things on their plate. Timelines to manage, vendors to check in with, couples to reassure, and last-minute fires to put out. It’s a tough job, and we respect that. But here’s the thing—acknowledging and working with your fellow vendors doesn’t add to the chaos, it helps reduce it.
When photographers, DJs, florists, and other vendors arrive at the venue, a simple “Hey, thanks for being here! Let me know if you need anything” can go a long way. We’re all here for the same goal—to make the couple’s day seamless and unforgettable. A little communication and friendliness can set the tone for an amazing event.
Being a team player doesn’t just make the day easier—it makes it better. When vendors feel valued and included, they go the extra mile. A photographer who knows the timeline inside and out can capture every key moment without disruptions. A DJ who gets a quick rundown can coordinate seamlessly with toasts and entrances. When we work together instead of separately, the entire event flows smoother, and everyone wins—especially the couple.
So yes, we know you’re juggling a lot, and we appreciate everything you do. But being approachable and collaborative doesn’t take extra time—it just takes intention. Let’s create magic together, not in silos.
