A small Friday finish to share. I was working on making a hexagon clasp purse to wear at Carolyn’s Memento launch party but didn’t get it completed in time. I struggled with the clasp portion, and in the end I decided to just bind the edges and add a snap. Voila 🧵

Dress is ready made embellished with hexagons stitched along the hem in Memento fabric.

Happy book release day for Stitched Eli McCann !! Thank you to everyone who preordered the book from The Craft Table. All orders have been shipped. We have two copies left in the shop if you are still looking for one. I can’t wait to read this a second time .. need to be prepared for our book club in November 😉

Join us in welcoming carolynfriedlander to the shop this Saturday to celebrate her just released fabric collection with ★ RUBY STAR SOCIETY ★ 🎉

Carolyn will be here from 1-4 with her gorgeous quilts (and quilt-adjacent projects) made with her signature fabrics. It’s a great opportunity to meet Carolyn, discuss all things quilty, hear about her new sew along and online workshop, and see all her fabulous quilts and fabric in person!

Our shipment of her fabrics just arrived, and we stock each and every one of the 28 quilting cottons and 5 canvas prints!

Feel free to bring any projects made using Carolyn’s fabrics and/or patterns. I know she would love to see them. You may also want to bring quarters for our new mini art vending machine (*squeals in excitement*)!

The Craft Table still has signed copies available of Eli’s novel Stitched for preorder! The release date is right around the corner which gives you plenty of time to read it (I’ve already read it and loved it!!) before he joins us in November for our book club event.

We are counting down the days!!

With great pleasure, I’m happy to report that I have two very special Memento events this month. Both are in the Central Florida area, and I’d love to see you! 💛

// Saturday August 15 (updated date!) we’ll be celebrating at Sew Creative Fabrics And More in Lake Wales, my home town. 🥳 (Pro tip: For anyone traveling in for the day, Bok Tower Gardens is a must-see if you have the time.)

Saturday August 22 the party will be at The Craft Table in Orlando. 🙌 I’m really looking forward to this event too! It’s a lovely spot, and we’ll have some fun!

At both events, I’ll be able to bring plenty of quilts. In addition to all of the new ones, are there any you want to make sure I bring? ✨

Our summer hand embroidery stitch along starts today, and the first video is available on YouTube (if you’re subscribed to the stitch along list, the newsletter went out before the link went live but it’s up now)!
