It’s been a while since I posted on social media as I’ve been busy, busy with the detail work that goes into preparing for our summer embroidery stitch along. I am so ready to reconnect over slow, summer days spent stitching (mostly virtually) with so many of you over the next 12-13 weeks!

Thank you for all the lovely comments, emails, and messages regarding the stitch along! All the enthusiasm makes me so happy 😊

The first stitch video goes “live” on YouTube on June 6th. If you’re interested in joining in or don’t know what I’m talking about 😜 and want to know more, there are links in our bio to the various places to sign up, watch tutorials, and/or purchase supplies.

Join us this Saturday (May 16) for our monthly Open Studio. Stop by between 11 and 2 to stitch, shop, and socialize! I am taking a break from Open Studios for the months of June and July, so get your fix while you can 😉

For those who preordered summer stitch along supplies, I have my fingers crossed that they will be ready for pickup on Saturday (there have been a few hiccups with deliveries), but if not, we are on schedule for the May 20th date 🤞

It’s the last day of National Letter Writing Month but any month (or day 😊) is perfect for sending mail 💌

Of course we had to include the Envelopes quilt blocks because they are perfect to make any day or month as well 😉

Thanks to everyone who came out for yesterday’s Open Studio! It’s always nice to stitch and chat with friends 🧵

Our next in person event is a timely (think Mother’s Day and graduation) hand embroidery class to make a compact mirror. A few simple stitches, luxurious threads, and floral designs become a treasured keepsake to give or keep. Tag a friend who enjoys creating and register together. Link in bio has all the details.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the inaugural International Analog Day!! I did snap a few pics on my cellphone but otherwise we were all about analog activities. We had stations set up for puzzle making, coloring, letter writing, card playing, and crafting, but for the most part, everyone wanted to chat and stitch. We definitely succeeded in unplugging and connecting!! Thank you to everyone who participated - you’re the best!! A big shout out to Shannon for instigating these gatherings 😊🧵
