✨ A beautiful tablescape is about more than matching colors. It’s about creating balance.

For this design, I started with a classic black, white & gold foundation and layered in purple for a pop of color. 💜

Then came the details—textured chargers, black napkins, gold accents, candlelight, flowing fabric and a statement floral centerpiece to create height and visual interest.

The goal isn’t for everything to match.
The goal is for everything to belong. ✨

That’s the difference between decorating a table and intentionally designing an experience.

✨ Leveling up the art of draping. 🖤

For my Forty-Fine celebration, I didn’t just want to create something beautiful—I wanted to challenge myself creatively and level up my skills.

This was my first time creating this Baroque-inspired draping style, and baby… those folds were FOLDING! 😂🖤

Draping has become one of my favorite elements of event design because fabric can completely transform a space. But I’m also learning that the more intricate the design, the more important technique, spacing, symmetry, layering, and patience become.

This design pushed me beyond the draping styles I’ve done before. I studied the look, practiced the technique, made adjustments, stepped back, looked again… and kept working until the fabric gave me the movement and drama I envisioned.

And that’s exactly why I believe in continuing to learn my craft.

I’m not interested in staying where I’m comfortable. I want every event, every design, and every new technique to make me a stronger designer than I was before.

Forty-Fine wasn’t only a celebration—it became another opportunity to create, experiment, and LEVEL UP. ✨

A beautiful focal point does more than decorate a room—it helps define the experience. 💜✨

For The Room You Deserve, Chic & Classy Events transformed a blank wall into an elevated draped backdrop using rich purple tones, soft lilac accents, and white for balance.

Throughout the day, this focal area became the setting for sound healing, movement sessions, powerful speakers, panel conversations, community photos, and meaningful connections.

That is the beauty of intentional event design: creating a space that looks beautiful while also serving a purpose.

Your focal area should not feel like an afterthought. It should help tell the story of your event.

A time was truly had at The Room You Deserve Community Wellness Event 💜✨

I was honored to sponsor the custom draped focal area for a day centered on wellness, connection, movement, meaningful conversations, and community.

Seeing the space come alive through sound healing, movement sessions, powerful speakers, panel conversations, and women simply showing up for themselves was so beautiful.

☕✨ Happy Monday!

A new week. A fresh start. Another opportunity to grow.

Every Monday is a reminder that we don’t have to have everything figured out—we just have to keep showing up with purpose, consistency, and faith.

This week, I’m focusing on progress, protecting my peace, and making intentional moves toward the life and legacy I’m building.

Because progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like showing up, staying consistent, learning something new, and trusting that every small step is moving you closer to where you’re meant to be.

✨ POV: The handbag vases were just the beginning… 💜

Yesterday, I revealed that three of the “handbags” were actually ceramic vases. 👛🌸

Today, I wanted to share a closer look at how they came to life as part of my Forty-Fine celebration.

Every detail was chosen with intention—from the dramatic black draping and personalized cocktail station to the custom desserts, floral handbag centerpieces, and thoughtful touches throughout the space.

As an event planner, I love creating experiences that feel elegant, personal, and memorable. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that become the biggest conversation starters.

Forty-Five isn’t just a birthday for me—it represents growth, gratitude, resilience, and embracing this next chapter with creativity and purpose. 💜✨

Every beautiful detail starts with an idea. 💜

Before this welcome mirror became part of a published editorial in WeddingDay Magazine, it started on my laptop with a design, a Cricut machine, and a vision.

Creating custom pieces like this is one of my favorite parts of event design—taking a simple mirror and transforming it into something that welcomes guests and becomes part of the overall experience.
