I'm cleaning today. Wanna see something unusual? This is the counter I work at daily. This counter top was newly installed in Nov of 1978 - such a lovely green color lol - and have been standing here working in this same spot since then! Countless vases, bowls and projects have worn through several layers of this counter. The history of my business is etched in its surface. I will continue to work in this same spot for awhile yet. See ya 'round!

Going fishing this weekend and need bait? My son Eric, a lifelong fisherman, has recently started a small business, Pappy's Bait Shop, selling fresh bait. After getting his licensing in place and the equipment set up he has been selling for several weeks now. Here is his page with baits available. The name "Pappy" for his business comes from his Grandpa Ford who was known in the area as Pappy. He was also a fisherman and boater it seemed appropriate to name the business after him! This photo is Eric with one of the first fish he caught this spring at our river camp on the Rock River.
