The Haystack Music Festival 2025 raffle winners have been drawn and notified.

🎉 Congratulations Leyla Jones for winning our grand prize - 2 tickets to Haystack Music Festival 2026.

Haystack Music Festival 2025 did not disappoint. That was one heck of a party.

There are so many magical moments to choose from and so many dedicated Haystack staff, artists, volunteers, and sponsors who worked for months to make these moments possible. We’ll be sharing all the gratitude over the coming weeks, but let’s start with you, our beloved Haystack community. Without you there is no Haystack Music Festival . You are our inspiration and our motivation. You are The Stack that supports this entire endeavor. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

🌟 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Dean Mueller is an Americana singer-songwriter whose heartfelt storytelling and soulful melodies captivate audiences across the Northwest and beyond. Drawing from a deep well of roots, blues, and folk influences, Dean delivers songs that feel both timeless and personal—like letters from an old friend.

Dean Mueller Music plays Sunday morning on the village stage and Saturday morning a ‘Not for kids only’ set:

Get ready to move, sing, and laugh along! This interactive set is packed with playful originals, classic tunes, and lively sing-alongs that invite kids—and the kid in all of us—to join the fun. Mr. Dean (aka Dean Mueller) recently recorded with members of the legendary John Prine band and will be sharing songs from his upcoming children's album, full of joy, heart, and musical magic for all ages.

🌟 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Jeff & Jzo will be playing on the Village Stage again this year TOMORROW at 1:45pm! They are a father and daughter duo. Jzo is the artist who designed and painted our beautiful haystack banners on either side of the main stage. She graduated from an art conservatory. She also did our face painting last year… Such a talent she is! Expect more fun face painting this weekend too.

Jeff Haigerty is also the keyboard and blues harmonica player for Tree Frogs which has toured nationally. He also fronts and produces the John Prine tribute band that sells out 2 nights at the Alberta Rose Theater each year.

🌟 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Tree Frogs [1992 ~ 2026]
The Tree Frogs, organic rock pioneers of Portland’s East Side Sound, formed out of a Thursday night basement jam hosted by co-founders Jeff Haigerty & John Henry Bourke. The Frogs went on to play over 500 shows in the 1990s, touring constantly across the US, while releasing three albums: Tree Frogs Live (1994), Leap Year (1996), Live at the Laurelthirst (1997).

After hiatus due to external life forces, the Tree Frogs regrouped in 2005
and returned to gigging regularly at local venues and playing festivals
across the Pacific Northwest, including a Happy Hour weekly residency at
the now famed Laurelthirst Public House from 2005-2015. Fast forward to 2025, the storied Portland jam band recently celebrated 32 years with a
sellout show at Mississippi Studios.

The band members: Jeff Duffy (Drums), Sean Nowland (Bass & vox), John Henry Bourke (rhythm guitar & vox), Fred Stephenson (Lead guitar & vox), Rob Matthews (Sax, Flute & vox), and Jeff Haigerty (Keyboards, harmonica, & vox).

Hopworks Brewery made a beer named Tree Frogs and that beer will be poured in the saloon and beer garden at Haystack Music Festival 2025.

See them SATURDAY on the main stage 4:30-6pm!

RA KHAN is an up and coming island reggae band dedicated to sharing the healing vibes of reggae music with the Pacific Northwest!

RA Khan’s hypnotic performance style consists of sultry vocals, soulful rhythms, artist collaborations and mesmerizing harmonies that make up what is known as the RA Khan vibe.

They’ll be opening the main stage this SATURDAY 12:30-1:45pm.

🌟 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🌟

There's a SUPER SECRET BAND?! That's right, Super Secret Band is closing out the Village Stage Friday night!

Super Secret Band is a mysterious, jammin’ rock band from Portland, Oregon. The Super Secret sound morphs from psychedelic, to funk, to jam, to rock, to reggae, to jazz and back in a spacey journey throughout a typical set. According to the band they are perhaps best described as Psyop Rock or “some dope s**t you’d wanna party to at a festival late-night.”

And late night partying is what we will be doing with Super Secret Band! They go on at 11pm THIS FRIDAY...
