Our Cascade Berries have ripened quickly and there's a lot of them! As you may know, we use these berries for our Cascade Berry liqueur, but they are also wonderful for jams and pies!
We're opening up the berry field this Tuesday 6/23 9a - noon (or until picked through) for any of those interested in picking berries for personal use. In lieu of charging a fee, we're asking you help us pick. Pick as many as you need and pick an equal amount for us (until the amount we need is met).
If interested, please send us an email at: [email protected] with the time you're able to come out and the number of guests you'll be bringing. **PLEASE include your phone number so that we can leave you a message in the event we get picked through. We'd hate for you to make the trip and have no berries!
Can't attend Tuesday? That's ok, we'll likely offer another chance to pick soon.
Cascade berries are more fragile and we need to get them picked quickly before the heat ruins them.
There are thorns on the vines, gloves are strongly advised and please bring your own containers. We use gallon ziplock bags for these juicy berries.
PLEASE NOTE: Only the berry patch will be open during this time. The nursery, winery and gardens will NOT be open.
