Lifelong Learning: University Express Comes to Orchard Park Senior Center
There is a growing trend for older adults to seek out educational opportunities in retirement, proving it is never too late to learn something new. While wellness advocates often remind us that "food is medicine," it is equally true that learning is medicine. Lifelong learning has been shown to provide older adults with a host of emotional and mental benefits, including social connection, cognitive stimulation, and life-skill enhancement.
We invite you to join us for the University Express series this Spring! These classes are typically 45–60 minutes long, followed by an interactive Q&A session. This season’s diverse topics include:
• Current Affairs & History
• Humanities & Science
• Medicine & Wellness
• Personal Enrichment
