Last night was 5th annual “Santa cruise”
Bringing joy, ice cream, toys and a special home visit from Santa and the grinch to local autistic families. This event allows us to cater to those who may not be able to venture out into the community for your typical holiday outing. These families have difficulty waiting in line, may have sensory issues with loud noises, bright lights and can be over stimulated by crowds and even experience limiting behaviors. With the help of local car and motorcycle enthusiasts and of course Archie’s ice cream; we bring the holiday magic to their doorstep. This year the HB Lyons club hosted a toy drive and helped us pass out smiles!
